Great film

Great film even if the volume went up and down.

Jeepers Creepers 2 is from 2003 when the DVD creators tried to bully people into watching B-films promotions and voice-over copyright warnings and frozen screens with copyright warnings and then some more promotional nonsense.It is best to use DVD Ripper to make a backup copy which is legal in the U.K. and cut out the promotional nonsense and the verbal copyright warning and the frozen screen written copyright warning. DVD Ripper is a popular program on Linux Mint. Simply make a backup copy. Under English and Welsh law you must have and keep the original DVD with your backup copy.It is well worth getting rid of the promotions voice-overs and frozen screen copyright nonsense. If it was a pirate copy it wouldn't have a copyright notice anyway .. Bullying people who purchase their products back in 2003 was counter-productive it just encouraged piracy. Their greed know no bounds. It really spoils the entertainment so it's well worth ripping.

This film is next to impossible to get on blu ray in England I don't know why.Very quick delivery worth every penny This film is very enjoyable sound and picture very good quality

Was trying to get this movie on blu ray for years finally got it was nervous ordering it to see whether or not it would be in English it was thankfully highly recommended the movie

This film is better than the first installment, which usually isn't the case with sequels, there are some scary moments, however if your looking for real scares then this won't offer you much, but if you are a real horror film wimp then this will be an ideal film for you.

Ok sequels are rarely as good as the orignal but this one just didn't do anything for me. It's set a couple of days after the orignal (as we hear on the radio) and essentially a high school football team and cheerleaders get stuck in the middle of the highway all ready for the creeper to om-nom-nom (for some reason he's given up on his truck and now uses throwing stars) that's pretty much the entire movie. As much as I love seeing teens get killed less is sometimes more.

The dvd works fine and it was worth the money 🙂

Nach dem guten Erfolg des ersten "Jeepers Creepers" Film, der weltweit 58 Millionen Dollar einspielen konnte, musste unbedingt eine Fortsetzung her. Zwei Jahre später konnte Regisseur Victor Salva sein Vorhaben auch realisieren. Mit 63 Millionen Dollar Kasse konnte der Nachfolger den ersten Teil in Punkto Erfolg sogar toppen. Auch künstlerisch kann man von einem ansprechenden Sequel sprechen. Wie schon der erste Teil wurde auch Part Zwei als bester Horrorfilm für einen Saturn-Award nominiert. Er musste sich jedoch von Danny Boyles "28 Days later" geschlagen geben.Der Film knüpft direkt beim Vorgänger an. Noch hat Creeper etwas Zeit menschliche Nahrung zu sich zu nehmen. Aber bald sind die 23 Tage dieses 23. Frühlings wieder vorbei und dann legt sich die fiese fleischfressende, menschenähnliche Gestalt mit ihren riesigen, fledermausähnlichen Flügeln wieder für 23 Jahre schlafen. Erst vor kurzem hat er sich den mutigen Darry Jenner (Justin Long) geschnappt, der gemeinsam mit seiner Schwester die riesige Leichenhalle in dem Gewölbe einer Kapelle entdeckten. Doch dann war es schon zu spät. Der Creeper (Jonathan Breck) hat den Geruch des Teenieboys geortet und flog mit ihm als Beute durch die Lüfte. Das nächste Opfer lässt auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Es ist einige Tage danach. Farmer Jack Taggart (Ray Wise) ist mit seinen Söhnen Jack jr (Luke Edwards) und Billy (Shaun Flemming) an diesem wunderschönen sonnigen Tag auf den Feldern. Der jüngere Billy soll dort einige Vogelscheuchen befestigen, sein Hund bellt als würde er eine drohende Gefahr spüren. Tatsächlich merkt Billy, dass sich eine der Vogelscheuchen bewegt. Dann ist es aber auch schon zu spät zur Fliucht. Denn es ist natürlich der Creeper auf Nahrungssuche und er braucht sich nicht mal groß beeilen, denn rennenden Jungen einzuholen, denn das Biest kann ja fliegen. Und so sehen Vater und Bruder nur noch schockiert zu, wie der Junge schreiend verschleppt wird. Doch das Monster hat noch nicht genug. Da kommt es gerade recht, dass eine Gruppe von High-School Basketspielern mit den Coaches und einigen Cheerleaderinnen mit ihrem gelben Schulbus auf dieser einsamen Landstraße unterwegs sind. Als Kanonenfutter fungieren Minxie Hayes (Nicki Aycox), die von dem Creeper träumt...ausserdem der unmögliche Angeber Scott Braddock (Eric Nenninger), Rhonda Truitt (Marieh Delfino), Bus Fahrer Betty (Diane Delano), Coach Charlie Hanna (Thom Gossom jr.), Bucky Buck (Billy Aaron Brown), Chelsea Farm (Lena Cardwell), Dante Belasco (Al Santos), Izzy Bohen (Travis Schiffner), Kimball Ward (Kasan Butcher), Jake Spencer (Josh Hammond) Coach Dwayne Barnes (Tom Tarantini) und Jonny Young (Drew Tyler Bell)....Durch die Vielzahl der potentiellen Opfer ist ständig Action gegeben. Sehr schnell merken die Jugendlichen, dass sie in einer tödlichen Falle sitzen. Immerhin bekommen sie auf dem Höhepunkt des Films Unterstützung vom rachedurstigen Farmer, der den Mörder seines kleines Sohnes tot sehen möchte. Der Film hat eine Laufzeit von 99 Minuten und wirkt wie aus einem Guß. Salva bleibt nahe am Geschehen dran und zeigt das Szenario in wunderschönen Bildern (Kamera: Don E. FauntLeRoy). Schon alleine die Anfangssequenz in den riesigen Kornfeldern ist toll fotografiert. Dies sorgt gleich für eine tolle Atmosphäre und dies hilft ungemein die etwas ürftige Story völlig zu veredeln. Zwar bleiben die Teenies alle etwas blaß (ausser Scott, der aber so aus der Reihe tanzt, dass er sich als Opfer für den Creeper sehr empfielt und der Zuschauer auch nicht traurig ist, dass er in der Luft verschwindet), aber die Handlung hat keine Längen und bleibt bis zum Schluß sehr unterhaltsam. Aufgrund Salvas Vergangenheit (er saß 1989 wegen sexuellem Mißbrauch an seinem 12jährigen Darsteller Nathan Forrest Winter für 15 Monate im Gefängnis) wurde von einigen Kritikern in die Figur des Creepers auch die Metapher für eine zerstörerische Homosexualität gesehen.

I really enjoyed the first JC, and have watched it many times since my first viewing and see new things every time...this monster and the modus operandi he uses are so fascinating and he is so awesome, I can't praise this series (?) enough. Not since Alien has a movie monster affected me to this extent. Teens and terror; can't miss, as a rule, but this movie succeeds beyond belief. I think that many people really love this movie and others in the same genre, but are afraid of expressing themselves for fear of enjoying what they feel, erroneously, is schlock...they prefer to be praise safer, more "acceptable" movies, but for the die-hard horror fan, hey, it's great, and if you're a true horror fan, this one's for you. It is very well-acted, and each and every actor in the movie is entirely believable...every single one, amazing. From the opening sequence, which is riveting, throughout the rest of the movie, you can't move, can't leave and can't take your eyes off the screen for one second; in my book, it doesn't get any better than that. I just got the DVD and was going to watch it "casually" and do other things; well, didn't turn out that way. I never moved a muscle. Not even once. I hope (and believe) that there will be a JC 3, and hopefully, in the next one, there will be more exploration of the Monster. Where does he live? How did he originate? When he wakes up for his every twenty-three year snacks, how does he decide where to go?? I would love some background on him, but keep him mainly in the shadows, out of frame and only fleeting glimpses; but he is so interesting and there are so many unanswered questions about him. I understand the necessity of keeping him under wraps for the most part, so to speak, but I would love to see him in his "lair." Also, in the original JC, when Darry went into the Church from Hell, we could be taken BACK in time, instead of twenty-three years ahead...let's go BACK and see how he created his hellish Church. I see almost all new horror movies, and really enjoy most of them, but this one tops them all for sheer terror and twists. Whatever they come up with for JC 3, I will be first in line to buy it. Amazing, well-done, and incredible special effects; this one is the BEST.
