I really like this tamper I've always been a fan of Motta products they have both style and great performance the tamper looks really good and performs great. the wood grain hande looks really good and professional and it's very high quality. it's very comfortable to hold and very comfortable to tamp you get a good idea of how much pressure you are using. it's also very easy to clean as the handle is removable it just turns anti clockwise and it comes right off. Overall I'm very happy with the performance of this tamper and I really like it I'd highly recommend it

Really nice to use. Fits well with my ROK - as I fill it close to the brim. Others noted they use 51mm when using less beans. Looks great, feels great. No experience with other tampers, though.

There's something very pleasing about this: it's weighty and substantial feeling, and is nicely made with a comfortable wooden handle. There's nothing nicer than having beautiful things for every day tasks.

The coffee tamper works as intended, but is poorly made for the price tag.After reading some fantastic reviews of Motta products, I was disappointed to receive a tamper with a poorly finished wooden handle.The handle was scratched in several places. Instead of sanding down such imperfections to get a smoother finish during production, it looks like a dark marker pen was used to cover up the scratches, one of which was a deep gash across the top of the handle. Even at rudimentary woodwork level, this would not be an acceptable practise.Such poor craftsmanship from such a reputable company as Motta, brings into question the standard of quality control at this renowned company.Overall, the item works as intended, but the poor quality of the wooden handle is a let down. I would not recommend this item.For the price paid. Motta needs to improve its woodwork skills. Don’t buy until they do.

Motta es un fabricante Italiano de accesorios para los cafeteros que como yo se están iniciando en el mundo de el café a tu gusto. A tu gusto, quiero decir que soy yo quien elijo cada uno de los ingredientes del proceso de elaboración de un buen café, y el prensador o tamper Motta juega un papel muy importante, porque si no prensas por igual tu medida de café lo mas seguro es que se vaya el agua por alguna grieta y los aceites que deben fijarse en el agua caliente no lo hagan correctamente. Motta tiene prensadores para todas las medidas y precios, yo elegí el de 49 mm, lo recibí con un packaging impresionante, al modo italiano donde el diseño está hasta en la caja que guarda este imprescindible accesorio.

Possesseur depuis peu de temps, le produit semble de qualité. Lourd comme il se doit, bonne prise en main,et bien sur s'adapte parfaitement à mon filtre (taille vérifiée avant la commande).La chaleur du bois apportant son effet autant pour le look que pour le confort. Je n'en ai jamais testé de "haut de gamme", et je ne vois pas ce qu'on pourrait apporter de plus.Bref, produit conforme qui fait bien son travail, reste à moi de presser comme il faut mon café, et là c'est une autre histoire ;)
