I bought this before Christmas and it has lasted until now...a beautiful soap with a fabulous fragrance that both my husband and I have used for 5 months, so it is great value as it lasts a long time and doesn't fall apart even though it has been kept in a shower enclosure. I hardly write reviews but felt I needed to...I'm just about to order another one. This is even better than the L'Occitane Milk soap I have used in the past.

Let's start with the cons; this is a very large bar of soap to manoeuvre if one has hands of the smaller variety and I think, if dropped, could easily fracture a toe because it is weighty (which will, of course, decrease with use). My soap has a curve to the base which does help with the holding. The pros: we have a water softener and this lathers beautifully. It does not leave my skin feeling dry and tight, the scent is not overpowering and this baby will last. I bought mine back in February (it's May now) and it has barely shrunk (I am the sole user). I have used Scottish Fine soaps before (the hand-wash in a pump-bottle) and will continue to do so for the guest bathroom but this is far better value. I love it.

Really big soap that doesn’t dry the skin. Doesn’t have any strong smell and no itchy feeling afterward..the size and form of it makes it a bit slippery. I don’t regret buying it but would have prefered a soap that doesn’t smell of glycerine.

Seems expensive for soap, but this is a great product that lasts & lasts & is great for the skin

I don’t usually leave a review but this was the other item that I have received that I felt so strongly deserves a mention this soap is beautiful in every way the perfume is just the right combination and although the soap is very large I have just ordered another as I want one in reserve just in case for what ever reason I can’t get hold of it again which does seem to happen to me. So it’s thumbs up from me even at this price which my hubby can’t get his head around.Thank you.

A good large oval block of bath soap. Triple milled. Good creamy lather, mild clean aroma, maintains oval shape throughout use. A couple of pounds too expensive 😉 but I'm addicted to it now. Have and will continue to buy.

Lovely rich cream soap, beautiful rich later, small bubbles, smells divine, the size is huge just like it says, having said that this soap doesn't go all mushy when left on the soap dish, my bathroom is on the small side and at the moment smells of this lovely soap, excellent price for good quality soap.
