Does this work with chicken mite powder?

I use it with DIATOMACEOUS EARTH - which is a very fine powder. If I use the duster 'as is' after a few applications the end blocks, so to get around this just remove the fine nozzle on the end of the applicator.

Can you extend the existing tube with some pipe to reach remote hole or is end of tube as far as it will spray?

Sorry , I found this to be an utter waste of money as it was unsafe to use. Nothing connected together securely and all connections dismantled with the slightest pressure. I glued with superglue in the end but then the powder just settled where it was .

How long is the nozzle? I need to reach an awkward spot!

The nozzle is about 10ins long, the puff is about that long again, just remember to clean and check the Hoover filters after use,

will this spray powder upwards

This puffer is amazing, it will undoubtedly spray upwards though I am not sure how far up it will go. It gives a lovely even covering of powder to whatever you puff it at. (Don't fill it too full) Hope that helps.
