Berserk Volume 38

Most of the volume focuses on Rickert and the city of Falconia however the lack of the presence of Guts and the gang doesn’t detract from the quality of the story. The art is amazing as always and the story is engaging; if you’ve got this far in the Berserk story then you know how amazing it is.

I don't read any other manga and am not much of an anime fan either but berserk is special. Its the greatest piece of fictional storytelling EVER.SO what are you waiting for? Buy it, you won't regret it.

I love the Berserk saga, but this volume is more of a story builder. I hope we will get an 'oomph' in the coming volumes.

best volume in a whileThe beginning of this book is all about Ricket’s journey to Falconia to met Griffith. After their initial reunion, Ricket decides he can’t abide being in the same city as Griffith and decides he needs to leave. However, Griffith doesn’t take kindly to Ricket’s rejection and tries to assassinate him.overall though, it seems we are back to Guts & Co plotline

Since this one, art looks slightly different, I can't say what exactly is the difference but after reading 37 volumes I can see it. It seems like art duty is more and more moving to assistants. Having said that it still looks breathtaking. The end is closer and there are no words for me to thank Kentarou Miura. Despite all gloominess in real life as well as in this masterpiece of a book, Berserk has been one of the greatest joys in my life, and always will be.

Rickert and Erica have reached Falconia, the reborn capital of Midland. It's Griffith dream manifested, a massive city that looks perfect. But Rickert cannot relax here. He knows what Griffith did to create this place.He knows this city is built on the corpses of the Band of the Hawk.Invited to the palace to meet Griffith, what will Rickert do? I don't know how they fit into the new story line, but I'm interested to see where Miura takes it. And even better, since volume 23 when Guts first learned of Elfheim, they have arrived. Nearly have of BERSKER has been spent on the journey hear. I can't wait to read the next volume!If you're a fan of fantasy, then you're going to enjoy BERSERK!

This is a great manga but the thing that stuck out is that the book smells like flowers. I don't know why as the others I've ordered do not but it was a pleasant surprise😂

Love berserk, the depth, the art. Although violent, like game of thrones, tells a compelling story... but like most of the newly released volumes, the mangas are slimming down and cam see why they are putting together deluxe books now.
