Pawz for paws - works very well
My Parsons Russell needed a toe amputation so I hunted the internet and pet shops for a shoe/boot etc for him to use while walking. His legs are so scrawny and paws so naturally thin that I've had real trouble finding something to fit.The Mikki boot was my first choice but was unable to get it on his very delicate, poorly foot, which still had stitches.I've found the Pawz rubber balloon like socks to be ideal. I have arthritis myself in my hands and struggled for while to get to grips with putting the rubber sock on.Making sure my dog was sitting or laying quietly on the settee to make life easier for me, with his front paws hanging over the edge of the seat, I began by placing 4 fingers in the neck of the sock to pull and spread apart and slowly and gently eased his paw in, then removing my fingers to allow the sock to close neatly around his ankle part, he was ready to go.I found it not only stayed on, but stayed in place and for me, I consider each rubber sock to be thick enough to be long lasting.I think it works well because he is able to feel the ground and he walks so much better with it on.(Brief note of before the Pawz arrived - I had placed his foot and leg in a clean new poo bag and tied the handles above his elbow which helped keep the bag on his foot/leg and kept his paw from getting dirty, especially with stitches still in - so the rubber pawz socks are proving to be worth their weight in gold.)THANK YOU PAWZ. I realise they are not designed for medical protection, but in the house, his foot is free as I let the air get at it. Out of doors we simply need to keep it covered and protected.

Non slip
Very satisfied with this purchase. Having fitted the small size on a poodle-X I would order medium next time. The ankle is very snug and makes fitting difficult, especially on a resistant pooch. The result is exactly what I wanted. My elderly dog was slipping over on our tiled floor and with the pawz booties she is confident and sure footed.

Annoyed about the retuns policy
As soon as I saw the product I could tell they were too small for my dog. Didn’t even open the package. So went to return this product only to find you are unable to return it- no matter the circumstance. What happens if the product is defective?

EXCELLENT
Bought for my little man who had a nasty foot infection during the Summer. We don't know what caused it ,but were told that it could be an allergy to grass, mud ,ivy, who knows! So, I decided t give these a try after reading the reviews. He is a French Bulldog/Staffy X and weighs approx 15kg and on measuring his paws as per the instructions on the description, I got him the red Pawz. They are like tough balloons, it takes a little while to get the knack of putting them on, but he is happy to wear them and unlike other boots & socks that I have tried , he doesn't keep shaking his feet when he walks. Because they fit so closely, they do not appear to annoy him. I have re-used a couple of the boots over 5 times now, I have only torn one when I was trying to use it the second time after washing it. I have found that if I put some cornflour onto the boot inside and out , it prevents the rubber from sticking to itself and makes it easier to get on. They definitely help to protect his paws and are tougher than I expected.

Didn’t work, wrong fit.
These are like rubber balloons, they didn’t work being too big/tight in the wrong places. However I am giving three stars for the comedy value of watching the dog walk with these on!

Dug can still feel the ground whilst wearing these but still protected.
I purchased these as my Westie kept licking her feet during the bad weather and I think this was due to salt on the paths. They were quite hard to get on her feet, but once on they did the job and surprisingly she was happy to wear them. They are definitely worth trying anyway as not expensive and can reuse them. If struggling to get them on if treats fail a tip is to put baby socks or bigger on your dogs feet first if they are long haired this will hopefully help get them on easier and keep everything in place. I haven’t tried this yet though!

Perfect pawn dog boots
These are brilliant and work so well. After trying so many other ‘waterproof’ and expensive boots (which never stayed on) finding these was a godsend. They’re lightweight and stay put whereas others constantly came off. A bit fiddly to get on but great once mastered. Will definitely recommend and buy these again.

Keeping an injured foot clean and dry while it heals.
The boots were bought to keep my dog's injured paw clean and dry while it heals and the boots certainly do the job, they fit tight around the top stopping any ingress of dirt or water and once on they don't impede the dog in any way. Four stars instead of five because they're so difficult to put on.Pawz has a video on their website demonstrating how to put the boots on but even so I struggled, and that's with a cooperative dog, if he'd been a wriggler I wouldn't have got the boot on at all. I thought there must be an easier way so I experimented a little and came up with this. I stretched the boot over the end of a short piece of plastic tubing of the appropriate diameter after splitting the tubing from top to bottom and placed the foot inside, then I removed the plastic tube. It's a bit 'Heath Robinson' but it works.I suspect 2 people working together would find it easy to put the boots on a dog, one to stretch the neck of the boot while the other to places the dog's foot inside, and maybe some folk manage perfectly well on their own, but I couldn't, and reading the reviews I'm not alone. I'm sure the good folk at Pawz could come up with a simple cheap device similar to (but better than) my effort. If they did I'd certainly buy one and they'd get more stars on their reviews.

Ottimi

Go for it, your little friend need these
This is fourth time I have bought these for my 4.5 years old Pug. This is an awesome product and protects our little baby from ticks and fleas and dirt. We put these shoes on him daily two times a day while taking our Pug for walk. Only problem is, it gets dirty easily. Solutions to this is to make sure your pets nails are not overgrown and also avoid letting your pet walk on stones. Also we wash the shoes everytime after the walk ( in pics) and once they get dry we put powder into those as they stick with each other after drying.
