OXO Good Grips Microfibre Delicate Duster

I bought this on impulse as my dusters are old. This is actually excellent. It's bigger than it looks. I tested it around a dusty living room and what a good job it made of everything- wooden furniture, ornaments, TVs, glass - everything in no time. It's worth the money!

Works very well, on fragile delicate items dusts them with no problems.

How much can you really write about a duster??? Well this one is pretty different than your standard dusters that is for sure. My first impression was, 'oh its that small'. I think a lot of others have found themselves in the same situation as well. I guess it is easier to hold due to the small size, however it will be quite difficult to reach most places above your head height. The handle is really well made so that is a plus point. It has a small gap at the top as well so that it is easy to hand and store away. Now the really cool part. There is a small button where the handle and the duster strands join. This button allows you to disconnect the handle from the actual duster so that it can be easily cleaned and washed. Now the main question is...does it work?? Well it does clean really well. The microfiber threads do seem to make a difference. You can actually see the dust sticking on to the duster so that is a good sign. Again it is small so don't expect to do the house dusting with it. It is more for just small delicate items around the house. It will definitely attract some attention being orange and cute. So it is nice to hang up and doesn't make you feel like you need to hide it. All in all it is a nice duster. Is it worth the price? I am still a little 50/50 on that. If it was a larger one then I would have said yes. Nevertheless, I would recommend it. If you found this review helpful, please click below :) Thank you for reading and good luck on your purchase! Quality product as expected with OXO

It's excellent! I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's a great product.

This is somewhat larger than I expected. Fibres are about 5 inches long, and it's natural diameter is about 8 inches. Since it was described as a "delicate" duster, I assumed it would have been a lot smaller. Really its a mop-like hand duster. Like a lot of middle-aged men I have various toys on display (i.e. left on shelves while I think of somewhere better to put them). Lego and plastic models and the like. The duster does a OK job of cleaning them and has enough give in it that they don't get damaged, but really it is far too big to get into any corners or concealed areas. For example, I can clean the outside of my Lego Eiffel Tower, but I can't reach the concourse underneath. I think you'd have the same issue with detailed ornaments. It just won't get into the corners. Quite handy for general household dusting though. Bookshelves and picture frames for example.

Really happy with this duster. It makes dusting very quick and efficient, and the results are great — everything looks clean with minimal effort. I avoid using it on greasy areas and make sure to shake it out well after each use, which means I don’t need to wash it very often. My home is already quite clean, so it doesn’t get too dirty anyway. If I ever needed to, I’d happily buy a replacement head in a second. Simple, effective and does exactly what it should.

I bought this to dust my Lego models, as one from another brand kept catching on small parts (each strand was a loop). This duster appears to rapidly trap all of the dust, making it easy to keep the models clean with a minimum of effort, and it does not catch on small parts often. It appears well-made and durable, but I will need to see how long it lasts before stops picking up additional dust.

Really good to dust delicate items
