PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS
UPDATE: I WISH YOU COULD GIVE A MINUS STAR RATING! A WASTE OF MONEY! Im more annoyed at myself, given my product knowledge of computers from working in electronic sales that i thought this would be a good buy. Its just total crap. I dont want mine anymore but i honestly dont know who could actually find it useful that it would be worth giving it away to them. Do not buy this for gaming!!! Do not buy this for school or uni!!! I use my laptop for video calling, occasional internet search and more recently i needed office. For what i need, it just about handles. Its slow and when clicking between windows can lag. After intial set up there was 9gb space left. I bought an sd card and changed settings to move everything possible to that to free up some memory. A month later having only installed a printer, security and a video call app i keep getting alerts that theres only 3gb memory left. My advice would be to google as soon as its set up and find out which of the hp crap you can delete safely because theres so much uneeded rubbish. And some that you cant delete. Ultimately its the 2gb ram thats the issue. 4gb + is what you need for everyday use Laptops are like cars, you get what you pay for. I didnt pay much and i certainly didnt get much.

The best little laptop I've ever had!
Up to now, I've always had some sort of problems with every computer I'd owned; the speed, the accessibility, the compatibility... But this little HP netbook is perfect, honestly! It's fast, it's uncomplicated; and it's pretty, too. I can do all my work on it, which involves graphics and design where many other laptops have got huge problems, and also play a game once in a while. The hard drive is a bit small - but then, what have we got USB sticks for? The working speed is much more important, and this device REALLY is fast. It's a joy to work on!

Slow connection & Hangs for ever....
all the blurb to this product say's it's Ideal for basic computing - rubbish reliable internet connection - rubbish battery life Up to 10.45 hours - rubbish.... It is so inefficient it's a wonder they sell any, the internet keep hanging, it take an age to connect....I have nothing good to say about this product!! I would like to return it as not fit for purpose, but unfortunately I'm 10 over on return time!!! Seriously folks DO NOT BUY THIS....it is a complete waste of money...

its fine for the price I guess
its fine for the price I guess, but forget about media use. the sound is virtually non existent. however runs everything else just fine: MS Office, Skype, etc.

Windows 10 uses all the space
This was recomended for use at uni and I must say I loved the sleek looking and speed of startup amongst other great positives.The only downside was the 32GB memory but with a large SD card for everything else other than the operating system itself I assumed this should be fine. However, nine months later Windows 10 has grown with all its unwanted updates to make the device unusable. It requires an awful lot of space and needs 4GB ram to run smoothly Anybody thinking of purchasing this 32GB model should think very carefully! I should be allowed to return device as not fit for purpose. Initially a 5 star rating but only worth 1 star now. As an update to this review. I must add that Amazon customer service was 5* for help with return of my order.

Not Fit for Purpose. 1 Star is too much
Yes, this laptop is cheap, but it is worthless. It is almost unusable., If you think clicking anything should take 20 seconds before it even starts to show you it is thinking about opening (for another 20 seconds) then you will be fine. It hangs constantly, locks up and there is a huge time lag doing anything. You can't even use the scroll bar on web pages or documents as it constantly sticks as the CPU overloads trying to load the new images as you scroll. I have worked with computers since they were available and work in IT and have never, ever seen any IT/PC product sold that works so badly Awful, awful, awful. Will be seeking refund as this is unusable
