Love it! Exactly what I was looking for. Its pages and pages of examples of bullet journal ideas.

You won't find much explanations in this book, so if you are searching for a detailed guide on bullet journaling, this may not be for you. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because it is very user friendly, it insists on the importance of not being worried that your BuJo is not perfect (something that many BuJo users don't seem to understand) and it offers a variety of layouts, doodles, comic bubbles and ribbons. If you are dying to get into your new BuJo and just new ideas or prompts, this is perfect for you.I do think that it is a bit overpriced for what it offers.

Good starting point for bullet journals.

I found The Bullet Journal for beginners very disappointing. There is very little instruction and a lot of images of scribbled scrawled, almost grafitti covered pages. Harsh possibly but this is my review and for me this was not a useful resource but a strong indicator of how I would rather not BuJo. I will never be the owner of a beautifully bordered, calligraphy written, artistically illustrated BuJo, Im not that talented, but I am the creator of an organised, helpful, personal BuJo that works for me. I am grateful to NOT be the owner the BuJo of visual noise and chaos illustrated in this publication. My totems in this regard have been Ryder Carroll and Rachel Wilkerson Miller, both of whose books I have found informative, clear and realistic. But thats just me, this might be exactly the book YOU are looking for.

A little misleading - this book is mostly images of suggested layouts. The first few pages detailing the theory is available freely online.

Very easy to follow given me some good ideas, fast delivery

Very helpful book.

I bought this as it was the only book that I could find which explains how to start a bullet journal. It's very helpful in lots of ways, there is a helpful beginners guide at the beginning and a lot of page layouts which you can 'mix and match'. There is also a good resource section at the end. I would have liked more explanations, particularly about indexing, but, all in all, it's a helpful book.

Expensive for what it is.......

As a newbie to the world of bullet journals, I can't even count how many blogs, apps, Pinterest boards, and posts I've looked at while gathering ideas on how to set up my own journal. This book is plain and straightforward about the basics of bullet journaling. It does offer some design ideas, but the main focus is on how to create the content for your journal that will be the most helpful to you, not just what will look cute or pretty. Most of the book is examples of journal layouts and diagrams, with the instructional part in the beginning.

While this book is not absolutely essential for creating or maintaining a bullet journal, I'm glad I bought it. There are some good ideas here and some of those ideas I've never seen online. In addition to monthly logs, daily logs, etc. there are ideas for decorative elements and collection ideas as well. I also liked having a hard copy so I could flip through it quickly and mark pages I found interesting.

Mir gefällt es gut! Gut erklärt, zwar auf englisch - doch das ist gut zu verstehen und simpel. Die Ideen sind alle gut umsetzbar und machen Spaß. Auch schön als Geschenk für kreative kleine Designer - die noch in ihrer Entwicklung sind :)
