They dissolve quickly in water and help with rehydration.Nice taste.
I like the taste of these. They dissolve quickly in water and help with rehydration. I actually just use them as a rerfreshing drink. Not the cheapest but based on research and recommendations , good quality ingredients.

Great for a hangover
Bought for travels around Asia. Now they’re a staple to kill a hangover! Won’t ever stop ordering these, they’re great!

Great for post workout water haters
I work out most days and was looking for something to help replenish after the workout - and I hate water!I get the blackcurrant flavour as the taste is as natural as it can be for this type of product. It takes a bit of time to dissolve so I make it before the workout to drink afterwards. It helps keep the post workout headache at bay. Also great after a night out (or a good night in - which is more accurate at my age!).However, one star knocked off for how much the price varies. I have these in my ‘save for later’ basket and check their price when I’m buying other products. When it’s £5 I grab them but otherwise I leave it as the price does go up quite a bit.

They taste grim
These might do the job scientifically but they taste horrible. They have the same “silky” texture/taste as dioralyte and they just taste a bit grim.I tried to just down it in one but couldn’t do it. There’s got to be better options out there. The lemon ones are mildly better but they smell a bit like toilet cleaner. Overall I would use them if I absolutely had to but only as a last resort.

Hydration is key: O.R.S can help you achieve this.
This is the best value ORS (oral rehydration salts) available in the UK. I don't wanna come across overly passionate about salt but as a connoisseur of ORS salts from London to Bangkok, as well as Kathmandu and Saigon (connoisseur that specialises in UK and Asia) as well as a great believer in hydration I cannot recommend oral rehydration salts enough. Great for sunburn, exercise, fluid loss, hangover or even everyday-use to ensure adequate hydration, either home or away. These are low cost compared to their local UK competitors (Kathmandu boasts the lowest cost hydration options known to me), O.R.S sweeps in to soak up the market that don't buy into Dioralyte's "medical premium"*, and that is fine by me as they are taaasty. However, I must stress that O.R.S seem to be one of the only brands of cheap ORS that are available on the UK internet and I'm sure another brand could offer a similarly beneficial and tasty product at a lower price. Admittedly the price is rather steep at a glance, but consider that for £7 you can guarantee almost a month's worth of hydration; translate that into 'per day hydration cost' and you have high cost to benefit ratio due to the derogative costs associated with dehydration**. Do some research into the negative impacts dehydration has if you are not clear. They are also highly portable; I always like to keep them handy in my rucksack in case I or someone else requires them when I am out and about. In regards to some of the lower rated comments (of course everyone is entitled to their opinion): the plastic packaging is necessary to prevent the tablets reacting to moisture in the air, leave one out in the open for a day and see what I mean, though the if the cardboard packing could be done away with that would be beneficial; remember cardboard is widely recyclable across the UK and to take advantage of these schemes. Solubility is dependent on two things: heat and motion; I always use a smidge of warm/hot water to dissolve the tablets fast and effectively (I usually prefer to take my hot with unbranded multi-vitamin tablets in a pint glass***). If you prefer yours cold, or do not have access to warming facilities (possibly if you are outdoors enjoying a well-hydrated being) you can use a plastic bottle (reuse is more environmentally friendly than recycling if possible) and shake it vigorously, or use a stirrer if a glass is being used. To reduce the amount of sediment lost, try swirling the last mouth full around the glass or bottle before drinking so the liquid can transport the final salts. Not everyone will like this as sometimes the final bit of sediment is not as tasty as the rest, for these people the inability to catch the last of the sediment could be considered useful. As stated earlier, if a lower cost alternative could be produced that would be fantastic, though try buying in bulk to reduce overall costs.Remember always keep hydrated, if you begin to feel fatigued or ill ask yourself if you've drank enough hydrating fluids today and if not you can always try sourcing some before turning to medication or stimulants as a pick me up. Oral rehydration salts can be used to speed up rehydration.Thank you for reading.*I have no health qualification, I cannot comment on the medicinal benefits of Dioralyte comapared to O.R.S and I usually keep a sachet or two of Dioralyte around for when I suffer severe fluid loss.** I do, however, possess an economics qualification, and I deem myself fit to informally estimate such a calculation. I am, as always, open to contravening evidence if such evidence exists.***I stress hot and not boiling, from personal experience I can tell you that certain glasses can break if filled with boiling water. Please use caution.
