The silver trim around the top instrument panel has a few fine and one deeper scratch. Would this product be suitable?

I found this product to be as good as useless.

The plastic back of a laptop was scratched with scissors, is this solution able to make invisible that scratch? I repeat, it is a quite deep scratch.

It may reduce it but to make it work you would need to polish off a similar depth of plastic to the scratch
