I picked up the Dymo S0717930 Omega Home Embossing Label Maker for my wife last year, and let me tell you, it was a game changer! She had this vision of labeling all our jars in the kitchen, and this little gadget made that dream come true. From the moment she unboxed it, I could see her excitement. The sleek grey and navy design is not just stylish but also fits perfectly into our home decor. The embossing feature is fantastic—each label comes out looking crisp and professional. No more guessing what's in each jar; everything is neatly labeled, and honestly, it looks pretty darn good on the shelves! But what really stands out is how happy it made her. Seeing her so thrilled to organize our pantry has been a joy for me too! It’s the little things, right? Now, every time I reach for a spice or a snack, I get to enjoy the fruits of her labeling labour. It’s practical, fun to use, and has made our kitchen a lot more user-friendly. A very happy wife indeed!

This is the 3rd one I bought. They don't work. Quality, materials, construction, and assembly are very, very poor.

Easy to use and lots of fun. Have created labels for many household items, as well as for use in crafts such as greetings cards. Only complaint is that over time, with usage I'm having to press the lever harder to get a clear print

I bought the Dymo S0717930 Omega Home Embossing Label Maker for £13.06 and found it fairly simple and old-school but effective for basic labelling at home. The turn-and-click system is easy to use, and the soft grip handle makes it comfortable enough. It comes with a decent set of characters and 9mm tape in different colours, which is handy. The labels are clear and readable, though it’s quite manual and a bit slow compared to modern label printers. For the price, especially with Prime delivery and returns, it’s decent value for simple use.

I love my little simple Dymo machine. Ok, it has a few issues- like sometimes slipping out of sync and needing to be "fixed" but all you have to do is figure out how much it is out by, and hold the underside dial while adjusting the top. Its an easy fix. Also, sometimes the odd letter won't print properly. I find doing a few of that particular affected letter in a row fixes that- not sure why. But yes, overall it works well and is a reliable label maker. The spacing between the letters can be a bit much at times, but I think it adds to the labels charm. I have used my label maker on just about everything in my house, from my filing cabinet, to my spice jars, and i can't say I'm finished yet. I also regularly use it with crafting and scrapbooking, so there is loads to do with it, and the variety of pretty refills you can buy. If this truly broke and I was unable to fix it (doubtful due to its simplicity, but still) I would definitely buy another one.

Awful product second time unlucky. First one would not print at all and the symbols were already rubbing of the dial just from slight so wouldn’t be visible at all be for long to know what you were trying to emboss. The turning the dials misalign,as tape gets stuck inside when you try to cut it which prevents the item from embossing the letters. As it’s trying to press over two pieces of plastic. Second one was double clicking on the letters instead of printing them as if it was trying to cut. Would only print so many letters. You end up wasting your tape just trying to get this thing to work. Avoid purchasing and get a print label machine instead. I liked the aesthetic of this machine punching the letters, but after two faulty products and reading the reviews since, they are just poorly made and not make to last for very long …a few days if you get one that functions initially until it stops working like the rest. Dymo are generally a good brand but this product gives them a made name I’m afraid. Was not going to try a third time for one that might work for a short while.

Bought as a gift for my organisation obsessed mum. She loves it, it prints really well and sticks great to most items, and can be removed easily too, leaving no residue. Super easy to set up and great value for money, the refills are also quite cheap it buy too

DYMO LABEL MAKER (not junior) I do really like my dymo label maker because of how the label looks, it’s aesthetically pleasing, really really neat and I love the style. I will continue to use it, but I do think it could be so much better. Overall the label maker itself is just pretty old school. It comes with 1 reel of BLACK tape (white characters), already installed in the machine. You spin the dial to select your character, then pull the handle to emboss the label, it automatically moves over to the next space for your next letter, you don’t have to do this manually 👍. To finish you spin the dial to the picture of the scissors and you pull the handle to cut. The label will fly out the machine too. It’s easy but quite time consuming and you have to make sure you pull the handle quite hard to emboss the label, if you suffer with arthritis or and joint conditions I wouldn’t recommend. I did do it too lightly as it still made a click noise so I thought it would be fine but it didn’t print properly (pictured) The characters available is: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ£ÄÖÜ€1234567890.,-/@ [space button] [cut button] It has a little tab you peel the backing off of the label easily. I wouldn’t say the adhesive is super sticky, but it seems to fix to most surfaces/materials (I’m using mine for labelling storage, belongings and crafting). I am unsure as to whether it’ll stay put on something that’ll be washed regularly with water (ie lunch box) but will do this and update later. The material of the label is waterproof though 👍 DISLIKES: Why the F is there not an apostrophe available?! There’s a comma. But not an apostrophe, weird. Also there is no “+” sign which is annoying but there is a “/“ which kind of replaces the +. But it bugs me nonetheless. I managed to make a few labels, about 40? And it’s already ran out so the reel of tape its quite short. Boo. £8 on amazon to get 5 replacement reels. The length from the start of the label to the first letter, and the lack of length from the last letter to the end of the label. If you cut immediately after the last letter, there’s not much space between the last letter and the end of the label. If you input a [space] after the last letter it’s longer than the length you get from the start of the label to the first letter (pictured).

Super łatwe w użyciu i tanie urządzenie. Bardzo przydatne przy organizowaniu.

This maker is awesome! I've managed to label everything in my house, a few things in my neighbours backyard and more! Works really well, and is so much fun for the price.

Nachdem ich meiner Mutter ein solches Etikettiergerät besorgt hatte, und von der Nützlichkeit überzeugt wurde, habe ich mir nun selbst dasselbe zugelegt. Ich hatte zuerst ein "Montagsgerät" erwischt, das beim ersten Druck ein Knacken von sich gab und dann nicht mehr funktionierte. Die Reklamierung ging reibungslos und nur wenige Tage später hatte ich ein funktionierendes Gerät. Für den geringen Preis ist das Teil einfach unschlagbar. Die Etiketten kleben (außer auf unebenen Oberflächen) prima und sehen sehr schön "retro" aus. Manchmal werden die Buchstaben nicht ganz in einer Linie geprägt, oder es schleicht sich ein Abstandsfehler ein.. das ist aber nicht sehr schlimm, wenn es einen stört, druckt man schnell ein neues. Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach und praktisch. Ich möchte es nicht mehr missen.

Ik heb dit ding nodig om mijn naam op gereedschap te zetten en het apparaat doet wat het moet doen zodra je weet hoe deze werkt (zorg er voor dat de onderste en bovenste print ring gelijk staan, de schaar is het beste uitgangspunt.
