Amazing stuff !!!
Super stuff! My Virago XV535 1995 had been standing for 5 years and a "non-starter" when I purchased it. It was then MOT and fully serviced with carburettors cleaned and came back OK but over the next week deteriorated to extremely bad starting and rough running.Yamaha said this is due to a deposit in the carburettors from the ethanol content in the petrol which over a standing period coats the carburettors and associated jets and they may not be able to clean properly. I should prepare myself for fitting replacement carbs!I conducted extensive research on fuel and came to the conclusion that the best available fuel was Shell (lower ethanol content and high level of cleaners) Next step was a carburettor cleaner, another trip to Yamaha who informed me they were a waste of money and I should go for the full carb clean route. This led me to further research on the web where I located Profi Fuel Max. I read the reviews and decided to give it a go.I mixed the additive slightly over the recommended dosage and poured into the tank, shook bike to mix with fuel, switched bike to run but did not start it. This was to prime the carbs. Next morning shook bike again and started it up which was after three turns of starter with 3/4 choke.Bike got to normal idle very quickly and away I went.Run well for 2 miles with occasional "missing and pinking" but after that it runs like a dream, is every bit as good as a new machine.I am now on my 2nd tank of treated fuel and intend to run that through and then go to normal fuel without additive.I cannot praise this additive enough, fabulous, it saved me a fortune at the dealership.

Clogged jets and this thing saved me £200 repair bill from garage.
I bought it as a first attempt to sort out the problem of clogged jets in my 2004 Suzuki Bandit. After standing for a while (3 - 4 years) in front of my house and gathering dust I decided to sell it. I was surprised to find out it won't rev up and cuts itself off on open throttle. Idle was still working, well, on choke only so using the choke I managed to take it to the garage. In the garage which seemed to be a bit dodgy they told me "jets are clogged". Meaning jets in carburettor are clogged and needs replacing - the bill £200. They said they cleaned them and it will work for some time (and it did) but not for long. They took "just" £60 pounds for that.I put myself on a journey of repairing it by my own modest means. Downloaded the Suzuki manual off the net, read through it (well, the relevant part), checked the web for some more info and came with this little thing as a first, cheapest and easiest way of attempting to resolve the problem. I put in on the stand, started the engine, left it for five minutes on choke and in those five minutes you could start noticing difference. First of all one of the cylinders which was not producing any power suddenly came to life - the exhaust pipe from cylinder became hot again. It was not like this even after I took it from that garage! That was promising discovery. Than slowly I started to rev up the engine. At first, on full choke, it was cutting off. After few attempts it was just slowly dying out. Improvement! Unfortunately it was low on petrol so, with warm engine, I decided to take it to the petrol station. It was difficult - especially for other road users as it was keep cutting itself off (not enough power to make a start very often). Once I made my speed from the lights and had the engine on high revs I was opening the throttle so it couldn't cut off so easily. 15 minutes later of this treatment and I was putting petrol in mixed with this miracle fluid. When I came from petrol station I noticed it starts picking up power from revving up so I decided to go for a spin to Epping Forest.Enough to say on my way back engine was buzzing like a dream with virtually no sign of any clogging. It was responding immediately to revving up while I was standing on the lights and power was back while riding. You need to know that in Suzuki there are two sets of jets - one set for idle and one set for open throttle. Now I'm going to sell my Bandit. :-)You can clean your fuel system with this - no doubt about it.

Worth a try
Was a little unsure if this was the right way to go. All the reviews suggested it was. So despite the high delivery cost I thought it was worth a punt. It did help and the bike runs better. My bike really needs a carb clean and rebuild but this product has pushed that expense back until next year. I filled the tank and put about a third of the can in. The difference was noticeable after 20 or so miles.

A genuinely excellent product.
Having come back to motorbikes after many years I was unaware of the harmful effects caused to fuel systems/carbs by modern petrol if a vehicle is not used for some time. Apparently now petrol can seriously deteriorate after 30 - 60 days causing carburettor jets to get blocked. I was away on holiday for 3 weeks and didn't use the bike for 2 weeks before going. On coming back injured my shoulder so I couldn't ride the bike for a couple more weeks, but thought I would need to do was charge the battery. No such luck, I nearly ran the battery down trying to start the bike and even then it was running really roughly. The next day it wouldn't start again.I read about this stuff from the excellent Amazon feedback comments and ordered some. Put it in and gave the bike a good shaking from side to side and back and forwards. Finally got the bike running very roughly on the stand, but after 5 minutes it was running very smoothly. Took it out for a run during which it ran very well indeed and put some more fuel and Profi in the tank. Now the bike runs superbly in acceleration, tickover and constant speed, starting first time even in freezing conditions. It always had a bit of a flat spot on hard acceleration at times, but that has gone now, it runs like new. I cannot recommend this product enough. It is worth every penny and I will never be without some in my garage.
