Gorilla 12" LP Vinyl Record Storage Box Flight Carry Case Holds 100pcs Union Jack

After starting my vinyl collection and it quickly growing out of control I found this item and was immediately drawn to its design and quality appearance. I was not disappointed once it arrived. The lock mechanism is solid and the fact that the lid can easily be removed and hooked back on again is a handy feature.The Union flag print is flawless and the chrome gives this a premium feel. The inside is velvet lined and the hinges are handle are quality.I store my vinyl in clear cases and the majority are gatefold so my hobby outgrew this case way before its 100 record claim unfortuantely. If you had single vinyl and still stored with plastic sleeve you may get near that 100 record claim. As a result I had to rethink my storage as having these un-stackable and expensive boxes around the house was not an option.for me. Like so many I have resolved my issue with an Ikea kallax unit however have kept this storage box for now as I search for another use for it. Its just too cool to get rid of.Its also worth pointing out that records are heavy!! and this case becomes a challenge to move the more full it gets, so you may want one with casters if you are looking for your collection to be portable.

I'm absolutely delighted with these cases. First class storage for any serious vinyl collector. They look great, are nice and sturdy and comfortably hold vinyl LPs that are housed in plastic sleeves. They certainly won't hold 100 LPs if thery're in plastic sleeves or are double LPs, boxsets etc. but that really is a minor quibble. The only problem I could forsee is if you tried to pick up the full case by the handle alone, I fear it may not be strong enough. Then again if you have this many records, you'll know how much that weighs and probably wouldn't attempt it in the first place!Overall this is an excellent product and in my opinion great value for money. So much so, I've just ordered another couple.

Got this because I have just started collecting the 12inch singles I stupidly threw out many years ago.This is a very stylish & attractive box. The records fit nicely inside with their plastic protective sleeves on, they are not tight to the sides. An excellent solution for housing your precious vinyl.I also purchased its brother box to house the 7inch singles that I have started collecting- to replace the ones that I stupidly threw out many years ago!!!!!!!

Soft lined. And lockable, you’d be stretched to find a better storage solution for your valuable vinyl collection, it also looks cool!

The case is solid and strong and more than adequate for storage, although I'm not sure I'd recommend it for on the road use. I have another, different brand, case which is noticeably more sturdy (and was somewhat more expensive as well), hence only 4 stars for sturdiness.The catch is strong and operates smoothly. The butterfly latch has a slot that fits over a small tab which allows for a padlock to be fitted if you so desire and the removeable lid is a nice touch, too.I've got well over 100 records in one case. Quite a few are 12" singles which tend to be in thinner sleeves than albums, but I'm sure the case will easily accommodate 100 albums without any trouble. Worth noting that the case is pretty heavy when full. The lining could be a little neater, but that may just be me being picky.Overall, more than happy with the case. Maybe not professional quality, but it's not far off and it's a lot cheaper.

Pros:Tarzan couldn't hollar louder than I where these record chests are concerned, I am so chuffed!!!! Built well, delivered, packaged, superbly. A1 all round.Cons:Question?Why is there no St George's flag, Saltire, Welsh and Irish flag editions/options, I have friends who are from aforementioned kingdoms who would buy these.Missing sales there chaps, unless of course I'm missing something here and you have these options.That's it really!
