Very good value.The best type of its kind on the market.Manufacturer advise NOT to fill over the filter filtering.Water must be below the filter to work. Only drawback is there is no mark to let you know how much to fill up to, to avoid overfilling.Soon worked it out, so easy when get used to it.I always remove the lining with filter attached,& place it in a dish, to avoid pouring unfiltered water in anything by mistake,when needing a full capacity jug full.Use it for all cooking as well as drinking.Get through more filters but can taste the difference in this high limescale water area,& not feel & no ill effects from the Chlorine ,that my stomach rejected so easily.Delighted to find one that worked so much better than Brita brand,in this hard limescale water area.

I spent a whole day deliberating whether to buy this make or if to buy Brita. I bought this one and I don't regret it. The filters last longer than Brita and they are inexpensive. I bought the six month pack which included the filter jug and three filters (lasting 60 days each). It only just fits into my fridge door - but it fits! This jug delivers crisp clean tasting water in next to no time at all. I find myself drinking more water now I have cold clean water available. I have a reuseable bottle I take to work with me and I pour my filtered water into it, so I save on buying bottled water. The best feature of it is the button at the top that causes the slats in the lid to open smoothly so you can fill the jug quickly then close them again so your water doesn't absorb 'fridge smells'. I love this thing!I would like a choice of lid colours, but you can't have it all.

Excellent water jug. I'm not personally a big fan of drinking filtered water as I think tap is perfectly fine, but I've been converted. Filtered and mineral water normally has a funny taste. This does change the taste of the water, but less so than typical filters, so this is a plus for me. The instructions to prepare the filters before using are straightforward but do take some time with no clarity as to why the steps are required. E.g. you need to soak the filter in water for 15 mins before using to remove air bubbles, but you do question why as most air bubbles are removed after 1-2. Additionally the filter floats so not easy to keep under-water without weighing down.The filters supposedly last 2 months, but unless you mark on the calendar, it's pretty easy to forget when to change these.Looks wise, very nice and good quality thick plastic and good grippy feet. Pouring is the only annoyance if you overfill (e.g. have water remaining in the filter section) as this pours out prior to the filtered water causing the unit to leak at the spout and of course defeat the point of only drinking filtered water. So avoid over-filling and you'll be fine. But filling to this amount this only gives you about 4 full glasses of water.

We researched loads of different filtered water jugs and finally settled on this one. We wanted one that had 60 day cartridges but was still value for money and good reviews. Very happy with this purchase. Love the easy fill lid, just slide the slots open, fill with tap water, then close again. Careful not to overfill as it can spill a bit if there is too much water and you pour to fast. But simple enough to avoid doing that. Makes the water taste so much nicer!

I used to hate water, but since getting this it's one of my favourite drinks. The filter is amazing and a huge upgrade from the original aqua optima filter, and I'm so glad the filters work with the old jugs. The water tastes great, and my teas and coffees taste really /really/ good! My water intake has increased a substantial amount, and my increase in water consumption has lead me to eat less and lose weight. I also take the filtered water with me to uni, and my concentration is better than ever. Up in Coventry the water isn't great but these filters make that a thing of the past.You could also be one of the few people that don't taste the difference in water; but I'd take a chance and try this filter, and taste for yourself!

Really pleased with this. Not had a filter jug for year because just extra clutter on work top. This fits nicely in fridge door. I love the easy fill lid so simple. The design is much better than old style models, the cartridge is locked in underneath and no chance of it dislodging while pouring water. I have now dispensed with all my Brita cartridges that had to go in kettle and coffee machine and just fill everything from this jug. Much cheaper than Brita for the jug and the spare cartridges and a superior design

Seems theres been an increase in filtered water and sales reflect this and prices have gone up.This is reasonably priced with a good supply of filters.I purchased this for my mother and shes thrilled with her gift. I have 2 of these as 1 developed a small crack when installing a new filter. I thought the crack would get worse, so covered myself with a second purchase.I must state that this was 6 months ago and I'm still using it, so they are pretty resilient.

I bought this to replace my extremely old Brita, because the price including three 2 month cartridges was roughly equivalent to buying six one month cartridges for that jug. I've been using it for about two weeks and it seems to be working well. I never drink water straight from a filter as I prefer the taste of tap water, but I have to use filtered in my kettle otherwise it has a metallic taint to it. This filter jug results in good tasting tea so it must be doing it's job. It's also really easy to fill, pours better than my old jug (it WAS very old and a bit leaky) and looks smart. Very happy with my purchase.
