Great little device which it’s perfectly in pockets and on keys. However the bulkiness of the alarm can annoy some people having it on their keys. The small design looks greats and performs well. The security alarm comes with a LED light on the front, which has come very useful when in the dark and especially when unlocking the front door.To set the alarm off the key chain has to be pulled out, and the only way to reset is to put the chain back in. In an emergency this feature will become vital as you are able just to pull the chain wherever it is. However if not in an emergency and reaching for your keys from a pocket I felt scared of it coming out and setting the alarm off. So I had to learn not to pull the alarm from its key chain, which I feel it’s the alarms only fault.The alarm itself is very load and definitely gets people attention as long as there nearby, an improvement would be to increase the volume but the product serves its purpose.

These alarms emit a high-pitched sound, aimed at causing panic to the attacker. If you carry them with you, you need to think ahead of the best place to keep it on you. I have mine around the outside of my handbag and carry it across my body. If someone tried to grab it, I only have to grab hold of the keyring, which should come out of the alarm, to set the alarm off. I just wish, though, it was a shade louder and there's no way of knowing if the battery is on its way out.

It's one of those things that you hope you never have to use but if you do, you want to to work really well first time. And this certainly works! The alarm is very, very loud - we tested it when it arrived (haven't seen the cat since!) and it works easily - just pull out the pin to set it off, reinsert to stop the deafening noise. Two attachment options, small and discreet, with clear usage instructions. Follow up customer service is excellent - the Tips for keeping safe are a useful freebie.We purchased this for our daughter who is moving out of home. She has it attached to her keyring. Fingers crossed that she never has to use it. We chose this one because it also has a torch - a great idea for finding key-holes or reading maps/directions at night.

I bought this gadget for my granddaughter who is completely blind from birth. The instruction advises in self defence after pulling the pin to throw the alarm away to give the attacked person the chance to get away. My granddaughter would not be able to get away in a hurry, so quite useless for her.

It looks as if it'll do the trick, it's loud when I pulled out the cord to practice but I feel I can't give it a 5 star unless I've used it for real and seen how easy it is to pull out in a situation. However obviously I hope I never have to put it to the test. I work late into the night and the car park is very dark so I feel safer having this in my hand.

I haven't had to use this yet and hope I never will, but of course we've tried it to see what it's like.I like the design a lot, it seems secure enough so I'm not concerned that it might set itself off in the theatre or something, which would be just a tiny bit awkward!The built in torch will definitely come in useful, it's quite bright and it can be used to check that the battery isn't dead without turning the sound on.The sound it makes is absolutely deafening so I'm very pleased with that :)Pureur has also sent me a pdf with safety tips which was nice of them.All in all I'm very happy both with the product and the service.

Works exactly as described. The noise is deafening which is good. 4 stars as it could have a clip or something to help with carrying it. I don't take my keys out running so need to unhook it from them. If it had a key ring clip that would be better. Still a good product and makes me feel safer out on my own.

My daughter has tested the alarm and is very satisfied with how it works and the noise level. She is a little concerned that if it is kept on the key ring she might knock the pin out. Any ideas on where to keep it would be welcome.
