Tick Twister

Given Global Warming there is an increase in ticks in the UK.Being covered up in bracken and long grass does not always protect you.A recent visit to the Crinan Canal resulted in my needing this tool for various little suckers.It cleanly removed all the ticks ( it gets easier with experience) with no issues and no after effects.Easy to wash and sterilise.

Bought a set 7 years ago & they have never failed to get the tick out in one piece. My dog is quite fussy but never had an issue as long as he's focused on a biscuit. And I can confirm that it's painless too as I've had to remove a few ticks of my own after camping. Only reason I'm buying another set is cos I lost the smallest one down the sink 🙄 Would definitely recommend

Bought 3 years ago after having difficulty removing a tick from the dog using tweezers. First time having to use the tick twister on her today, worked brilliantly. Easy and quick to remove even a very small tick

Ok so this is not the most exciting product to review. Delivery was fast and turned up as expected suitably packaged and can be posted through the door if buying alone. The tool is well made and does the job, two tools are included so there are two different sizes to cope with different tick sizes which is very useful. The plastic between the two prongs on each tool is clearly cut so work perfectly. Comes neatly packaged in a little plastic pack which seals after each use. Instructions included. All in all good value for money and means that ticks can be safely removed from cats / dogs without any issue saving on vet bills to have them removed or ticks falling off in the home. Functional tool to have in the home and personally would not be without as I am always out with the dogs in fields / woods etc where ticks can be picked up. Colour rather useful as can clearly identify if caught up with other stuff.

Easy to use and does the job, bought these to replace a years old set that the dogs decided looked like a good little chew toy!

I bought this because my wife recently had Lymes disease, after a tick, and had to have a three week course of antibiotics.It was tested on Emma who picked up a tick. I needed a magnifying glass to see the tick as it was so small. However the smaller tool did the job admirably once I could see what I was doing and effortlessly removed the tick without leaving a trace. Emma did not feel a thing. Recommended as it does the job, even with very small ticks.

Maybe it’s just us.. we tried to use on our short haired fur babies but we’re never able to get under the darn ticks regardless of size, the prongs are too thick. Again, could be user error and I’ve kept as a back up. It was worth a try at that price but just had no luck and had to continue with prevention and tweezers (which I know is not recommended).
