3M Individually Box Wrapped Ear Plugs Pack 50

Before landing on 3M, my wife tried the other cheaper options available in pharmacies, but the expensive 3M's were simply the best - at least for her, so it was great when I found them online in bulk packs of fifty pairs for about the same as 4 pairs in the pharmacy. Considering the price, I was first a bit skeptical if it was the real 3M ones, but it was - at least the ones we got.My wife uses them every single night now, and they do wear out and gradually block less and less noise. Still, I think our first pack of fifty pairs lasted nearly two years before we reorderedI am quite sure these were also the same ones we got when I was in the Norwegian Navy, to protect our ears in the field or used in addition to the over-ear hearing protectors on the shooting range. We didn't wear them often (It was the Navy, after all, and not the Army, and we didn't shoot much), so two pairs lasted me my full five years there.Update 13 November 2019: I think this is the third or fourth time we've reordered these now. They are still the best value for money in quality ear plugs.

They are the first earplugs that actually worked for me. I can hear just enough sound to hear an alarm and block pretty much all of the noise. They fit quite tightly and my ears hurts for the first couple of times of use, but then pain went away. Overall they are quite easy to use and remove and are quite effective. And they also don't take much space at all which is good for traveling

Comfortable to wear, they help me to sleep when it’s windy & noisy outside.

I have tried many many types of ear plugs always hoping for the mythical perfect noise-silencer, and these are the closest I've ever found.You may have seen these on the high street in slightly different packaging, but rest assured they are exactly the same product for a vastly cheaper price.The best thing about them is that they are lovely and firm, which makes inserting them easy as they keep their rolled shape for longer. There's something very satisfying about feeling them gradually expand in your ears and listening to the background noise slowly fade away.Their biggest (perhaps only) disadvantage however also seems to be in their firmness - once they've been used, they never expand back to their full shape, thus each time you use a pair their effectiveness diminishes a little more. This is in contrast to the softer types (e.g. Howard Leight) which always seem to keep their shape. One pair of these 3M/EAR earplugs will last usefully about three or four uses.On the plus side, they never hurt my ears as some products do; there seems no way to predict which makes will be painful and which won't, but despite their hardness these are comfortable for me. And a brand new pair blocks out noise better than any other ear plugs I've tried.

Have used them for years as am retired and am constantly woken by neighbours building works. You get so many in a pack, great value.

Fantastic plugs, for many occasions i presume. They come in little cardboard packets in pairs of two. Sound Isolation is excellent. I tried using them in a normal environment without loud noises and the silence was very relaxing.I mainly bought these to wear in noisy environments like concerts and the cinema when they crank up the volume to ear piercing levels.Last night i tried using them after work before bed, I work evening shifts. The silence was so welcoming that i decided to lie down thinking i will snooze for a bit but woke up the next day. Needless to say, very comfortable despite the look of their shape. Make sure to follow the simple provided instructions.I really like these and can easily recommend them to anyone.The silence is addictive, you have been warned.

Great product best one I have used so far

These are by far the best Earplugs I've ever used. I've used all sorts, including very expensive £40 ones recommended by sound engineers, which were no better in reducing the noise and painful to sleep in.Do follow the instructions and take your time to squash the plugs into a thin roll and then pull open your ear and slide them in quickly before they expand. They do work, but there is a knack to inserting them. Persevere with them - it may take a few attempts to fully insert them, but once you've got the knack, you'll be thankful that you found these gorgeous little yellow lovelies.
