Will this router run on the same ssid and password as my current sky router/modem so devices transition seamlessly between the two?

Yes. Apparently you disable the router mode of your router/modem and just use it as a modem. When setting up the Google WiFi, give it the same ssid and password that you currently use and all devices will connect automatically.

Does this come with a UK plug?

It comes with US plug, but I received a EU adapter with the package that I did not order.

No. You need your router and then you connect one Google WiFi unit by cable to that. Then the other 2 Google Wifi units can be distributed around the house.

Depends. I have a fibre optic cable, so I need an optic modem between the cable and Google WiFi.
