Pillsbury Funfetti Premium Cake & Cupcake Mix With Candy Bits 432g Box

My daughter wanted to make cupcakes with speckled sponge for charity. We looked everywhere for the extra large hundreds and thousands to add to the batter mixture in order to achieve this but we couldn't find them. I came across this as an alternative. I don't generally encourage ready made mixes as I like to keep the mix a pure as possible. Saying this, we were pleasantly surprised that the mix made 26 cupcakes for us (states 24 on the box). I looked in the supermarket and it was comparable in price to other mixes for the quantity. The sponges turned out to be beautifully light and fluffy and the children who bought them loved the taste. My daughter combined it with a simple vanilla butterceam on top. She received lots of compliments as it was a bit of a novelty. Needless to say, they sold like hot cakes ( big eye roll!) . They were simple enough to make- two methods are listed on the box. My daughter just made the one with added oil(vegetable for us) and eggs. I'd buy the mix again for a similar reason as it was incredibly easy and effective.

Great product. Usually bake from scratch but I didn’t have the sprinkles needed for this particular style of bake as you need specific ones that don’t bleed and I was short on time.The cake produced was perfectly and held its moisture well even after a night in the fridge.It does have a slightly “artificial” taste to it, but that’s the same with all boxed recipes, especially if you’re used to baking from scratch.

I made this for the guys at the office, and they all absolutely loved it! Someone's asked me to bake them another one for their kids! All went before lunchtime, I was so shocked. Will be buying again very soon, and definitely will be a pantry staple!

Delicious cake but too expensive to buy on a regular basis.

Very dissapointed with this product.The instructions were very poor, how much is " half a cup of water and half a cup of oil" The taste wasn't what was expected, very poor. Bought these as l wanted something quick, didn't have time to go to shops. I wouldn't recommend this product.

It was easy and a good tray size 9inch by 13 inch kids came back for more.

Made this so easily! Super moist sponge and was really quick to make. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a quick but tasty cake.

I bought this item believing that I could make cup cakes but it only came with a cake mix so it ended up muffins. It did not coincide with the images on the packet.
