Ehlers RTE 304 travel immersion heater

Brilliant item - So portable and useful. Can even be used in the home, instead of boiling a whole kettle. Faster and more economic.

I tested it before taking it on holiday and it worked ok, but in Norway it worked once only but never at all after that.

well, I tried it prior to leaving the UK by plugging it into a 2 pin euro plug and then into a Uk plug into the wall which works with a kettle bought in Berlin. it didn't work for me at all. Put it in a tall metal container, filled with water half way up the element and switched it on. Nothing. I will take it with me and try it abroad but I will be taking the kettle as well (which it was meant to replace.) If it doesn't work it isn't travelling home. Odd packaging in a vinyl pencil case and nothing in English to help, just the diagrams.

Product well made, but I wanted to use it only abroad when on holiday. It was fitted with a 3 pin plug which was impossible to remove. I had to cut it off and then buy a 2 pin plug so I could use it on holiday.The supplier should ask if a 2 or 3 pin is required.

Does what it says. Easily packs into pencil case for travel
