looks good, plays well, is well made, has lots of variation and sounds good...what's not to like!
Received this item ahead of schedule. I unpacked the item at 7 pm gave it a quick tune and was playing away happily by 7.30 pm.Huge range of tones and styles thanks to the coil split, quality and finish are good but there is a slight scuff on the cut away near the binding on my guitar which I am not worried about. The neck and fret board are very nice. The neck profile is pretty thin, almost as thin and similar in style to my Ibanez SA360.By LP standards the body is slim and comparatively light but you will find this guitar a little heavier if you are used to most Strat style guitars. All in all the LTD 256 BLK; looks good, plays well, is well made, has lots of variation and sounds good...what's not to like!Note! My guitar states made in Indonesia on the head stock not Vietnam!

Great for intermediate guitarists
Guitar arrived ahead of schedule and it great condition. It was well packaged and protected.Look:Pictures make the finish look slightly more matt than it is. It's very glossy and shinny.Tunners are very nice with a strong and clean gold finish to match the pick ups.Binding is a nice touch and well set around the body and neck.Inlays and fret board are lovely to look at.Playability:If you're used to Gibson or Epiphone Les Pauls, this feels a bit stiff. Action requires setting up.Holds tuning in E standard and drop D but tried tuning to C standard and it's struggled. Perhaps it'll function better with higher guage strings.Body is much thinner than I expected and wraps around my hip. Nothing like the Gibson styled Les Paul. Much lighter too which takes some getting used to.As to be expected, G has difficulty holding tune.SoundPlugged into garage band, with an external compressor added, it doesn't blow me away. I've been playing Gibson for over a year now and I'm used to it's warmer and fuller tone. I'll probably swap out the pickups for EMGs.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to upgrade from a starter guitar - well suited to metal.

Amazing! Heres a tip...
I bought this guitar a few months ago. Honestly its a great guitar very slick and easy to play highly versatile for just about any style of play. I noticed the g string was very out of tune however when i changed the strings for new ones i adjusted most of the hardware, screws especially on the bridge where the strings rest, i found it was all very loose, afew adjustments and it was perfect. G string stays in tune and overall the sound is much more crisp!

Perfection!
This has become my favourite guitar. I’ve tried many and this guitar is beautiful in tone, appearance and playability. It bares no barrier to what you want to play.
