CHEAP & QUICK DELIVERY.
3 sachets for under a fiver is a very good price.I have used 1 sachet today on the stump of a Palm type tree. Simple to apply having dissolved a sachet in 150 ml of water & painted onto the stump as instructed.Time will tell how good this stuff is. Can't see it failing having read & followed the instructions. Recommended.

no better than other weed killers
I wasn't that impressed with this. I tried to kill a stump with it and regular weeds. In the end i just used caustic soda which did the trick

It works on Ivy
I do not not know if it works on stumps. I use it very successfully to kill Ivy. I mix up a solution and paint it onto the growing leaves that are growing through my garden fence as I cannot get easily to the other side. It certainly works well.

Man and mouti wage war on defiant Lime Tree stumps
I have 2 Lime Tree Stumps, each of about 1 metre diameter and about 25-30 cm high, that were supposedly "poisoned" by the feller about 3 years ago, but have been vigorously sprouting bunches of new shoots from the remaining bark every year since then. I have applied the Bayer Tree Stump Killer 4 times to date (there are 3 sachets of poison per box, and I bought 2 boxes), meticulously following the instructions re mixing and application. There has been some evidence of die-back of the shoots on one stump, but very little difference on the other (slightly larger) stump. These trees have very large roots (up to 30cm or more thick at the base) that have been found been found still 5cm thick up to 8 metres away from the trees, not far below soil level. One such shallow root near the tree base has been sending up a trail of shoots for a good 2-3 metres away from the stump, which I have to cut with my mower whenever mowing the surrounding grass. I have to replace the rear fence of my garden at some stage (which I removed several years back due to damage to it from the trees' abundant growth), but want the trees declared well and truly dead before I replace it. Unfortunately there is no access for a tree-stump grinding machine to chew away the stumps, but I can well imagine even if there were, these massive roots would continue to have a life of their own in thrusting up yet more new shoots. I shall continue to use the Bayer Stump Killer product over the winter period and will report back in the spring of 2016 !

tree stump killer
so far so good, used 3 sachets on one tree stump and hammered in some copper nails just to be on the safe side! tree stump shows no sign of new growth so far.used same amount and same procedure for a much larger tree stump and so far so good, time will tell ! wait and see, will keep you posted if product does not work after 3 x overdose of product and 20 copper nails per stump.
