Great healing and preventing RSI and Carpel Tunnel.
I bought this out of necessity to force my hand to stay on top of my desk rather than the edge. it worked perfectly. The bottom of the mouse mat sticks to the desk and does not move, you have to peel it off and place it back down, it is pure silicone (i think) and very high friction you CANNOT slid it around, not even on purpose. The gel hand rest bit is also silicon, feels like jelly, very soft. The top of the mat is a hard plastic material, the mouse runs smoothly on it, no issues with tracking. The area is a bit small for modern mice, i use a Razer Death Adder 2013 and wish there was more room but it is still very usable.A bit of background to why i bought it:I normally keep my palm pressed tightly against the edge of my desk whilst using my mouse causing a big red line across my palm and reducing blood flow and irritating the nerves in my hand thus causing carpel tunnel syndrome and RSI.With this mouse mat i am forced to keep my hand on top of the desk instead of the edge, the big bubble bit physically stop my mouse from being taken to the edge of the desk and also provides a nice palm rest.I have been using this for a month now, my past injuries have gone, the pains and aches and soreness all went away after a week or two of using the mouse mat and it will prevent them from coming back.

Ideal for the office
Bought this for my desk at work. It’s ideal doesn’t take up much room and wrist does not slide about when using the mouse, it Keeps the wrist in one place better than fabric (personal preference). Once positioned for use, the mat does not move around as underneath is non slip, which is great. Wrist does not sweat either. I can’t rate it for gaming, so unfortunately the 1 star is all I can give this as it would be wrong for me to score it highest when it’s only being used in the office. Hopefully would be good for any gaming people out there ( as I don’t do gaming). Wrist does not feel tired or strained and I love it. The gel is clear too so can see desk, it’s fun and a bit different for the office/workplace.(maybe fun for gaming too?). I recommend this product. Arrived promptly and as described. Thank you.

Mouse user essential.
I suffer with a sore achy wrist from all day computer mouse use. I’ve had one of these previously which “went missing”I ordered two lots for two offices I work in.They are nice and soft and cooling on the wrist.Come in lots of colours. Will definitely be marking these up with my name so they don’t go AWOL! 🥰

Works Well
I had a Fellowes mouse mat years ago and was pleased with it then. In between times I tried a few others but came back to Fellowes because it's the best I have found so far. I would certainly recommend this, as the wrist rest is comfortable and the mouse glides easily. I use it a lot as I am working from home.

My RSI problems in my wrist have gone away since using this
Being a graphic designer, I'm used to using a mouse for a ridiculous number of hours per week, months after month year after year, but after several years, the RSI in my mouse hand got so bad that it was excruciating, I spent a great deal of time researching alternative mouses first so that my hand wouldn't have to pivot at the wrist unnaturally high (Yes - I've used the same wireless laser mouse for years as it's so damn good) but acknowledge that the mouse and my chosen line of work are doing my RSI no good. I looked at Apple Magic Mouse (£60) and Logitech T400 (£20) and Microsoft Arc Mouse (£45), among others - all of which offer a better ergonomic fit so that your hand is much flatter and the angle at which the wrist pivots is almost parallel to the desk (has to be good) however read an awful of of reviews suggesting the level of accuracy and response was not as high as it needs to be if you have a job like, Graphic Design, for example. High level of response and accuracy with zero lag are critical. So £60 is a lot of money for a mouse right, a rip-off in my opinion.I considered gel mouse pads/supports as an alternative to spending a lot of money on a mouse, and therefore taking a chance on it being accurate and responsive enough at great cost. The gel mouse mat is a cheap way to tackle the RSI problem. This will sound like complete bu****it but from day one, my RSI has been practically non-existent. The gel pad raises the wrist and hand, allowing the hand to use the mouse at practically a horizontal level - eliminating the need to bend my wrist unnaturally for hours on end. I was very skeptical about buying this at first but as it was cheap (£6.00 less expensive than the high street retailers) I considered it worth writing off if unsuccessful. I since bought another so I have one for the office and one for home. Some reviews suggest the actual mouse surface is poor quality and peels off, but after 3 months, it's still like new and I can tell you I'm fussy as hell but have found this to be incredibly good.5 stars for price, quality and fit for the purpose for which it was designed. Don't delay - buy one (or two) today.
