If you have PS4 and VR, then you wound have the same problem. HDR only supported when connecting your PS4 directly to the TV not via VR box. VR box connection is only required when playing vr games, but if you are constantly switching between vr games and normal games, you certainly don’t want to pull / plug all hdmi cables again and again and again.The switcher comes in rescue, works perfectly, single button push, saves all the hassle.

I combined this bi-directional switch with a pair of Securomax short 0.5m HDMI cables also purchased from Amazon to connect our Freeview box and computer to the same TV and very pleased with the overall quality and ease of use. A simple push button flips between the 2 sources with only a momentary delay before the new feed is displayed. This was a very cost effective solution to sharing the same TV to view 2 HDMI sources with no apparent degradation of picture quality and the sound actually seems slightly better. Highly recommended combination of this switch and the Securomax cables.

I bought one of these to add another HDMI slot to my TV which currently has 3 HDMI slots. I used this to share the XboxOne and Nintendo switch inputs but the screen kept flashing when the Nintendo switch was on. I realised it didn't work with the Nintendo Switch so I gave the Nintendo it's own port and used this Switcher to share the inputs of my Xboxone and Android box. It has worked perfectly since. MAybe the technology on the Nintendo Switch was too much for it but it works perfectly with other devices.

I have to say that they themselves still wotrk prfectly, but because i have changed from Nvidea to AMD Sapphire for my GPU in my PC, they now easily go to swopping to another screen, but THEN they LOSE the main screen my previous PC was connected too. So I have to switch it of before changing the PC input. GOING BACK from the laptop to the PC does not seem to be a problem. I had something like this decades ago, and had exactly the same problem then wiith the same GPU card manufacturers. They still work the same. So much for progress. BUT THIS ITEM IS PERFECT. Problem is with AMD Gpu's, coz the nvidea PC I was using when I got this had no problems of any kind.

I needed one of these because one of our televisions only has a single HDMI slot so with both our hard drive recorder and Amazone FireStick using HDMI cables we had to unplug and plug the separate cables as required. This simple switcher solves the problem with a single press of the button switching between the 2 inputs. A useful LED light indicates which cable's connected.Picture and sound quality from both devices remains as good as if connected directly.

This switcher is working very well from a HD TV source to position 1) an HD TV and position 2) an HDMI to SCART converter then to a TV sender / Receiver. Tried the switcher the other way since it is bi-directional with 2 sources i.e. pos.1) TV source and pos. 2) DVD player to one TV and this also worked perfectly. It takes just 2 or 3 seconds for the signal to change between one position to the other. The only drawback is with the HDMI cables themselves, not the switch, as they are generally quite stiff and can take up quite a bit of room in a confined space.

My TV only has 2 HDMI ports and one is taken up by my PVR so I use this to switch between my DVD player and my Amazon Fire TV. The cables fit ok and it uses a push button to switch between channels so you do have to get up to operate it. I've only had the unit for a few days but it seems to be of good quality and should last, so going on what I know so far I would recommend it.

This piece of kit is just what I wanted as part of my setup. Makes switching between two HDMI devices a breeze!I've connected 2 computers to 1 screen. The build quality of this little box is A1, it's made from sturdy metal - not cheap plastic!Has a 2 very clear LED lights to indicate which device (1 or 2) is connected at any given time. I would buy this again and recommend it to friends in a heartbeat. Well worth the money.
