This was bought as a Christmas present as something a bit different for a 10 year old girl who already has everything & it’s been a big hit! It’s really easy to use & makes lovely candy floss. Only flaw is that the sugar can spit out when it’s first turned on but we just hover a plate over it for the first few seconds. Also the red & white candy floss sticks it comes with are a bit too small to grip properly which makes it harder to make a full stick of candy floss, so I’d recommend buying a pack of the flavoured sugars that come with the longer wooden sticks - these are much easier to use! Overall great product.

This is excellent. Quick & easy & makes brilliant candy floss. It is red hot so would need a grown up to operate but I would thoroughly recommend it. We used candy floss sugar in three different flavours.

We received the machine in good time. However, when my son unwrapped it on his birthday and switched it on, one of the glass tubes was broken which made it unusable. We got back to the seller, who promptly responded and sent a replacement. When this arrived a few days later, it also had a broken glass tube. My husband took both machines apart to remove the unbroken tube from the one machine and use it to replace the broken one on the other. Then we sent back the machine with two broken tubes. The seller insisted they were not broken when dispatched and must have broken during transit. That seems likely, as it was packed in a way that one part was piercing the box on the top, and any strong pressure on that part could have broken the tubes. However, now that we have it working, it is a great machine and the children love it. It is fun to use, easy to clean and easy to get the hang of. An older child will be able to use it without supervision pretty soon.

I've read a lot of reviews about these machines that say that they are hard to use. I found no problem. I just followed the manufacturers instructions. The photos are attempt number 1 and attempt number 2. Number 2 is bigger because I used slightly more sugar. Tasty and fast. Kids love it. I have different flavours of sugar but they all just taste of candyfloss. There is only a very subtle difference. Not sure if this is because of the brand of sugar I bought or just because candyfloss tastes like candyfloss. I've not cleaned it yet because I'm waiting for it to cool down. The plastic bowl just slips off and sugar just dissolves in water. The spinning part just lifts off so again, warm water should do the trick. I will update if I find any other problems.

I wanted something a little different for our jubilee family celebration so I thought candyfloss might delightvthem. I was a little worried to buy a candy floss machine as I had heard some nasty tales but I was delighted with this machine. It was easy to assemble with the instructions and easy to disassemble to clean and pack away. I found it easy to use, the instruction book was easy to read and follow. I made some lovely candyfloss . Afterwards I found cleaning simple and quick to do. So 5 stars. I hope it continues as grandchildren love the results.

The sugar spills everywhere when spinning and it’s not exactly melting fast enough to make the candy floss. It’s a little candy floss not loads like I expected. Brought 4 candy floss sugar flavours from Amazon and received 3 unfortunately. Not exactly easy to use unless I’m doing it wrong. I’m not! Easy instructions just very messy and not easy to clean once used. Should have did it in my garden. Sugar under the microwave toaster kettle. Literally everywhere! My son asked to try again the next day and we did and I had to put on a brave face. I’ve brought him a waffle maker from argos 2nd day of having this so I can have less mess in my kitchen. Yes and it worked! My son forgot all about this. He would have kept trying poor thing. Defo going to putting this out of sight. Feel like I’ve wasted my money and probably won’t use again.

This is an amazing product! Perfect for family parties and very easy to use. The price for what you get is pretty amazing. However I do have one complaint, the whole machine is very difficult to clean especially when you have melted sugar going everywhere. I try to use a damp cloth with hot water to try and clean it as best as I can but it’s stull difficult to get into the smaller areas of the machine. Other than that it’s an amazing product and I would recommend it to anyone.

Takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of it. But once you do its great. Experiment with how to catch the candy floss as it appears. I held the stick just above the middle once candyfloss appears catch it and spin the stick reasonably quickly in your hand moving from left to right drawing it upwards like webbing. If it drops it can go into the middle and goes hard and sticky. But just gently adjust what you do and before you know it you will have reasonably good sized floss. I bought the proper sugar for it and sticks and my son was delighted as it was for his Birthday and he is candy floss mad. Switch was almost impossible to turn on the first time but then it was fine Must have just been stiff. The "wasted" sugar that crystallized round the edge was delicious and wasn't wasted in my house.... took it apart and the sugar remnants dissolved in a basin of warm water. No scrubbing or anything. I'm looking forward to using this again. Defo recommend.
