Moroccanoil Texture Clay, 75 ml

My hair is very fine and quite straight, and it’s hard for me to add lasting volume, especially when it’s cut short. It tends to just flop down and lie flat on my head after a few hours of being out and about. This product is the best solution I’ve found so far: it’s easy to apply and adds wonderful volume and texture that lasts all day. The hold is decent but not rock hard, so can be reshaped but doesn’t fall out of place easily. It also works well when my hair’s on the long side, so it’s a great all-rounder. I love the smell, but understand that it might not be for everyone. It washes out easily. It has a matte finish, so if you want a bit of shine I’d recommend finishing with a tiny bit of pomade at the end.

Never usually leave reviews on Amazon but:Bought this item two years ago and have been using daily since. Best for fine, straight hair which has been blow dried and then needs clay to lock in. Using a pea-sized amount will provide best hold and also allows you to still run fingers through your hair throughout the day. I came from using gel and this has truly changed my life. Completely matte product and smells great. Made the mistake of thinking the product doesn’t work in the original months I had bought it but that’s because my hair was too long and heavy. For the men, go a little shorter on the length and get regular cuts to ensure the hair doesn’t fall down after you have styled it. 10/10 worth the money and would definitely buy again. The product has lasted me two years and it’s definitely a brand I’ll be sticking to and using for the future. Their other products such as the oil and mask are also great. Product is down the bottom of the plastic tub after daily use for prolonged time.

There's so much to like about this product. It's a pleasure to apply and style your hair in to place and leaves a lovely natural looking matte finish with no greasiness at all. The hold is great on my short hair, and I can re-style with my hands throughout the day as necessary. I also appreciate how easily it washes, rinsing out with just water so I don't have to shampoo every day.The one thing preventing me giving this the full five stars is the scent. Or more specifically the strength of the scent. It actually smells quite pleasant in the jar but once in the hair I find it way too strong for my liking and it really lingers. I feel quite self conscious when wearing it, especially at work in an office environment. There's no way I could use this as my 'go to' daily product which is such a shame as it performs so well in every other aspect.

This is the best of dozens of hair products I’ve tried. It’s light, but holds very well throughout the day. It’s also very easy to layer up by adding additional small amounts of the clay throughout the day if you want extra texture.I’m a guy with short hair. I find it works best on clean dry hair (it pulls if my hair is damp!). Use about a fingernail sized scoop and get it all over your hands, then rub roughly through the hair. Then I add a little more to get the texture effect, and shape the style.My hair is quite curly a few weeks after a cut, and I find this works best when my hair is short, or if I straighten the hair first.Smells nice, style can be reworked through the day, washes out easily. A tub lasts me at least 3 months, so it’s value for money.

The product was not right for my hair type though I wear the same hair style this product was used to create a beautiful hair cut.The style is very new to me it is probably my inexperience using this product.As this is one of my favourite brands good value for money.
