Tolkien Calendar 2018 Calendar – 31 Aug. 2017

Amazing artwork. Have bought Tolkien calendars in bulk for years, as my sons are fans (and myself). This one was no different, and we're all enjoying looking at it on our kitchen walls. Will be buying again soon, ready for Christmas gifts.

This came in a box 10 times its size! I couldn't believe it; what a waste of trees copied down for this packaging. Not good for the environment. I'm sure Tolkien who loved trees would have objected to that.

This was a gift for my son - when I asked him how it measured up to all the other Tolkien calendars I've given him over the years - "It has a position of honor in my office."

The Tolkein Calendar as opposed to The Hobbit / Lord of the Rings film calendar is always very good. There is nothing wrong with the film merchandise versions, but my preference is for the author version.

As ever, this will not be opened by my nephew, as he collects them, but from what I can see , again a very well illustrated calendar.

Alan Lee's drawings of Tolkien's world rarely disappoint and this calendar is no exception. The beauty within this calendar is outstanding.
