La Roca 4 Person Wicker Picnic Basket Hamper Blue

Purchased this picnic basket, was very impressed with the contents, well worth the price. So nice to have real plates and proper glass to drink good wine. The interior material is of a lovely brushed quality along with the napkins. On arrival the packaging was brilliant, no breakages of anything. On the first picnic I was able to fill the basket with a number of storage packages, more than just for four people. My only gripe is that also on the first picnic the handle came loose, one of the fixtures came away and we needed to carry in our arms back to the car as I was worried the handle may come off on one side completely. However on arriving home my partner was able to fix it by putting a new washer in its place, not sure if everyone would have been able to do the same so maybe the fixings of the handle could be appraised and maybe secured more thoroughly. Hence the reason I have given it four stars, I do love it though.

This item is truly lovely.I didn't mind paying the money because it does exactly what it says.It is spacious, everything well fitted, and although heavy to carry it is a lovely shape with an easy to hold handle.I saw reviews mentioning the bubbles in the glasses - mine too had this, but they aren't hurting anyone so I don't see the problem. I think they are probably there because the glass is quite thick, which is what you want really because taking delicate things on a picnic is always a bit of a concern... But the glasses actually being glass is enough of a treat to worry about little air bubbles!!!The cutlery and plates fitted in very snug. I was a bit unsure about forcing them in, but if you put in two at a time, they fit in perfectly.The items were a bit dusty and dirty when they arrived, probably just due to storage, so not much of a problem. they were all packaged very well.I have used it once since buying it, and there was no problems at all, apart from how heavy it was, but this is expected when it is full of food! Luckily we didn't have far to walk.If you are looking for a picnic basket that is pretty as well as practical, then I recommend this one. It really gives you a nice feeling when you use it.

The basket is lovely but it arrived damaged on delivery so was very disappointed that I could not present it to my friend as a reteirment gift. It took 4 days for the company to contact me after I sent them an email then the delivery driver would not take the demaged item as the company I bought it from said they would. What a shame that he had to return to do the to 2 days later!!!!!!!

I thought that the overall quality of the picnic basket was poor along with the accessories that came with it.

Ok - glasses are cheaply made, as is all the cutlery. Basket's nice, but if I'd seen it in a shop, probably wouldn't have spent that much for it

Lovely hamper, great quality and good for the price. The contents included are great and ideal - plenty of space inside. If I had to find a con it would be that there is no cool bag facility (I saw one in m&s the other day and had a bit of hamper envy ha ha)

Lovely picnic basket purchased for wedding present for a colleague. Glasses not great quality though and they and plates needed washed. What do you expect for under £40 though? I think they will like it.

Good value for money, however the cruet set was chipped when arrived and soon had a replacement which was also chipped, feel could be seconds as also one of the glasses had a much thicker rim than the othersAll said and done for the money i paid very happy
