iPad Pro 9.7" (2016) Smart Four-Fold Case Cover By PUPiL of Cambridge, England Handmade Genuine Leather (Coal - Black)

This is a nice cover. It has quality about it and feels nice to touch. The back is a hard plastic that securely holds the iPad it place, covering around the edges but allowing access to all the ports etc. the front is a nice leather with the word 'PUPil" embossed on it. The cover provides good protection for the whole iPad, and will protect it from everyday knocks and bumps. To stand the iPad upright the cover folds back on itself and you rest the iPad against the fold. There is no need to remove the iPad from the cover for normal everyday operation. The cover will give good overall protection to your expensive iPad. BUT! it is not waterproof, and does not claim to be, but just in case someone mistakenly thinks as its a protective cover it is waterproof it is not! it is protecting against knocks as stated and dust etc. Not Water!!I had a similar cover from "Stilgut" for my iPad 3 Retina, it (The Cover) was brilliant and lasted years, this cover at a 3rd of the price has the same quality craftsmanship and feel about it, but at nowhere near the Stilgut price!! and does the same job as the Apple Cover at again under 1/2 the price.If you are looking for a classy cover that will protect your expensive iPad but not break the already broken bank from buying the iPad, then this cover is for you. It should last for years.A good well made product and worth every penny.

After being somewhat put off by the selection of cases in the Apple Store, I decided to look elsewhere for something to protect my device. Coming across the Pupil case, you'd be forgiven for being skeptical about the overall quality of a case at this price point.I was however, pleasantly surprised by what arrived. Initial impressions are good, the case arrives well packaged and presented and feels good in the hand due to the leather exterior. The plastic shell inside, snaps around the iPad securely, and overall the case adds very little weight or thickness to it. I appreciate some of the additional functionality of the case, namely, the magnetic cover that wakes the device up and puts it back to sleep as you open/close it, which also folds around to prop the device up. It reminds me of the early leather Apple smart covers I had on my iPad 2.If I'm being picky, the fit and finish of where the leather case moulds to the plastic shell underneath isn't 100% perfect. There are small imperfections around the cutouts Also those looking to protect their devices will need to consider whether they're happy trading durability for a thinner profile. This case will protect the device from small bumps and scratches, but it won't do a whole lot of good for bigger falls.

I've had this case a month now, and have been very happy with it. I like that it covers the edges and all sides, providing all round protection, but not so much that it inhibits use of the iPad. The 4 fold is really useful for various standing angles and the material has a nice feel to it. I use my iPad every day and the case seems to be holding up very well- there no signs of wear at all. It is a little heavy, but to be honest that can be expected of a robust case. It also fits the iPad snugly, it never slips out.

This is a review for the Coal-Black version of the ipad pro 9.7" case.The case is really sturdy and adds some nice weight to the device making it feel protected. The leather is a comfortable texture in hand and the camera and speaker cutouts are perfect. The magnetic closing tab on the front automatically causes the device to sleep or wake and seems to be very strong at holding the front cover on even when held sideways. My only issue with it is the cutout for the volume up and down buttons which makes it slightly awkward to press them , it would be easier if it was a full cutout like the power button or speaker cutouts.The packaging it arrived in was brilliant and protected the case amazingly during transit.

Very well packaged cover, lovely gift box and covered in branded acid paper. Bought a black case for an iPad Pro 9.7 (2016) 'in the sale'. The case is leather, smells lovely and fits well. Slight niggle is that the case doesn't overlay the speakers on the top or bottom edge at all so worried metal may scuff when dumped in a bag. Case feels great in the hand and wakes screen etc. Recommended at more than double the sale price.

Nicely packaged & delivered on time. The case stand is a little stiff but not much of a problem.Time will tell but overall a good product & reasonably priced good value for money.Follow up to did it did live up to my expectationsI previously said that the stand was a bit stiff I think it is because it is new & the leather has not yet softened up. I am still happy with it.

Purchased for my mum’s birthday for her iPad 9.7 inch (2017) and the packaging looks very good and works well for a present. Unfortunately this case does not fit. There must be a very slight size difference between the iPad Pro and the fifth generation iPad from 2017 so I am unfortunately having to return it which is a shame because the product looks very high quality! So far so good, the cover arrived on time and fits my iPad Air like a glove. It did require a little persuasion but it’s in and not coming out which is good. It also looks and feels like a premium product but not sure if it would justify the initial price but is really good value for money at that which I paid for it.
