Neat grommet. Very easy to cut if you need to feed a slightly larger cable, just (carefully) use a stanley knife to slice down the unit - it's 'soft' to cut rather than the brittle plastic that shatters. You can then easily push through a larger cable. I used a couple of these grommets to feed an electrical cable through a wall rather than the smaller co-ax for which this grommet was designed. thereafter, the 'cut' was virtually invisible!

Even in an 8mm hole these are too big round the cable and the face is very visible too.

Seems absolutely fine. I put mine in a mortar joint so not to spoil the brickwork and put a little silicon sealant where the cable passes through to make sure everything's watertight. As my brickwork's brown I would look for brown ones if they're on view at the front of the house though.

For the small quantity I required these are very good value and for 10 not the usual 2 or 3. and including free postage, bargain.Just in case you are wondering about sizing standard coax fits easily as does 3 core cable the large kind that is usually used on electric fires and HD appliances like washing machines. (You will have to rewire the plug though, that's if you millennials know how..)

Well finished front with slight curve looks very neat when fitted. Good quality grommet for single T.V cable. Also use when running Cat 5e cables but use a dab of silicon just to seal. Nothing to them but gives a neat professional finish to a job and a lot better than a hole in the wall with a cable sticking through it. Delivery was in a couple of days with packaging O.K.

Purchased the 10x White Hole tidy / Grommets. bushing, These arrived well in time and the work which I used some of them for was made much tidier. I used them to cover the hole on both sides of the wall to take Ethernet cable through. I had to cut these on one side to enable the connector on the Ethernet cable to be accommodated. This was OK and did not show as the hole was just above the skirting. The part that entered the wall was taped with insulating cable and I applied small amount of glue to the wall to secure the trims. All in all these do an excellent and tidy job and well worth buying.
