Strong and sturdy
This telescoping magnet is one of the few magnets I’ve seen that doesn't have “slack” or a “wobble” when you fully extent it and hold it out vertically. You can tell it’s very sturdy and with the extended reach it carries, it’s more than enough to get you in those tough places.

USA made, strong magnet
This pickup magnet is great. I am almost sure it is made in USA (as that is one of the reasons I bought it if I remember). The reach length is perfect for what I need. The magnet is strong and has a little sleeve around the sides of it so that it doesn't stick to something on the way to pick up your part/tool you dropped. Good price too for this handy tool.

Strong at Full Extension
I have tried a couple different brands but Ullman is definitely the best for tool and magnet strength. I prefer the smooth magnet head as it's much easier to clean off the metal shavings from drilling/cutting through metal than the micro checker plated versions out there.
