I recently switched all my hangers from white to black to create a more cohesive look, and these have completely transformed the appearance of my wardrobe. The black velvet combined with the black hooks gives a very clean, streamlined finish. I’ve actually repurchased these again after my initial order because I wanted to standardise everything. Fully black hangers with black hooks are surprisingly harder to find than expected, and once I saw the quality of these, I didn’t want to mix in different styles. At 0.6 cm thick, they are genuinely space-saving. They are noticeably slimmer than standard hangers, which allowed me to fit more clothing on the rail without it feeling overcrowded. The 43.5 cm width works well for dresses, blouses, jackets and lighter coats while maintaining shoulder shape. The frame feels solid and well-made rather than brittle or flimsy. The structure is lightweight but sturdy, and they comfortably hold everyday garments and structured pieces without bending. The velvet coating provides strong grip so clothing doesn’t slip — especially useful for satin, silk, or wider-neck items. The black metal swivel hooks rotate smoothly, making it easy to organise and reposition items without removing the hanger. For very heavy wool coats, I personally prefer wooden hangers long-term to help retain shape. However, these are excellent for most clothing and everyday outerwear. Considering the quantity in the pack, the quality feels very good for the price. They’ve made a visible difference to how organised and streamlined my wardrobe looks. Very happy with them and would purchase again.

These are such good hangers. Space saving, non-slip so even the silkiest garments stay on the hanger. I have switched most of my clothes to these from their previous plastic coat hangers and will buy more when needed. A must have wardrobe staple.

Great - just what I wanted / good sturdy hangers that really save space

Good hangers, but be aware that the velvet coating actually clings to some garments like T-shirts, which makes it more difficult than normal to hang clothes, this is because you have to arrange the garment on the hanger instead of just letting it fall into place over the hanger. Other than that the hangers appear to be well made.

I've been using the Songmics velvet hangers for a few weeks now, they are child size but ideal for organising school uniform. Overall they have impressed me. The velvet surface really does prevent clothes from slipping, even on delicate fabrics. I appreciate the thin design that saves wardrobe space while still feeling sturdy enough to hold heavier garments such as coats and jackets. The 360-degree swivel hook is handy for accessing clothes from any angle. My only minor gripe is that the velvet can collect some lint, but a quick brush easily fixes that. These hangers give my closet a tidy and uniform look and seem well worth the price.

Have ordered on 3 separate occasions, each time the quality was good and the shipping fast. After 2 years of use there is very little wear on the hangers, and between 2 batches there doesn't seem to be a difference in shade etc. Great product, would recommend!
