Does it stay sticky afetr u rub in?

You have to wash it off your hands, that's the real sticky bit, but I haven't had a problem with it otherwise. I tend to put it on hip or thigh and then forget about it.

Does this sting on application like the oil?

yes it does sting a little... less if you have magnesium bath with bath flakes first, then apply the gel.....
