Pretty freaking awesome little guy
Pretty freaking awesome little guy. I was pretty impressed I could have a full C# Visual Studio experience- including step-by-step debugging- on this guy. Very powerful for its size. Wish the netduino community got more love from Microsoft however. (Although I hear Microsoft will be stepping up their game in this area)Bought a temperature/atmospheric pressure from Adafruit and basically ported the arduino code to C#.... worked great. Very happy with it- very powerful for its size, especially compared to the Arduino offerings and with a fantastic development experience with full Visual Studio 2010/(2012?) support.Disclaimer: I'm a total noob with electronics so just getting my head start.

Great little microcontroller, and .NET too!
After re-flashing the firmware to MF 4.2, I was able to deploy and run a program I wrote for the Netduino 2 Plus just by changing the pin definitions. Not as many pins, but for small stuff it's nice to just plug in a chip and be able to program it, and debug it in a nice GUI.Caveat: Get a TRUE USB-serial adapter to re-flash it, NOT the USB-TTL one. Then, it's a breeze.

This uC is perfect for replacing a basic stamp board
This uC is perfect for replacing a basic stamp board. I use it with a "Board of Education" while prototyping. It's hard to believe something this small can run .NET.
