A well thought out design and great value.
I know a lot of people who are changing their light bulbs around the house to the new low powered LED ones and whilst expensive to do, are in the long term saving money on power consumption and also helping to lower the house energy rating. Whilst I personally haven't got round to doing this yet due to the expense, I am slowly replacing my bedside lamps with portable LED lamps. My decision to purchase this was an easy one as I bought one about a month ago, similar to this in style and performance but it had a 2000mAh battery, and I love it.This neat portable 15 LED lamp comes with a charging lead and user guide. Weighing 395g it stands about 11" high, 2" wide and 2.5 in depth. The lid lifts vertically up to 180 degrees and can be left at any angle with the light reflecting off the white inside. When closed the lamp looks very smart in the silver colour but it's also available in Pink and Grey. The base is non-slip, stable and has a touch sensitive switch at the front that gives 3 different lighting modes and the 4th touch turns it off. The supplied lead plugs into the side of the base and the standard USB end goes into a 5V charging source i.e. computer, power bank, mains charger, and takes about 3 hours to fully charge. When charging a red light is shown but goes off when fully charged. The 1200mAh internal battery lasts between 1.5 & 3 hours depending on the light mode, and all modes are flicker-free. One of my favourite features with these lamps is being able to use it while on charge, so if you need light immediately but it needs charging you just plug it in and away you go. Highly recommended.

Slick lightweight LED lamp, unfortunately requires frequent charging than expected
It is a nice looking lamp with three levels of lighting, seems to be a good task lamp, in our case for my kid doing homework. However it disappoints me a little bit for couple of things: 1) At full charge, this lamp lasts for about 1-1.5 hours maximum at its brightest level, which means one has to charge it again, otherwise it goest very very dim. Perhaps it might last longer in the lower brightness level but I found it too dim for our purpose. And each time full charge takes 3 hours + so literally it needs staying charging longer than it can actually be lit up! 2) The source of charging it provides is only a USP cable, doesn't even have a plug that can be used directly onto a socket, and I don't always have my laptop next to it for charging. So I now use one of my iPhone charging cables to connect it directly into socket. This really reduces the benefit of portability quite a bit so apart from being LED, it is just like a traditional lamp that requires plugging in all the time.I can see now it has reduced price, compared to £23 when I bought it two months ago, I think the lower price reflects its value better.Other than above, it is nicely designed lamp to keep. Just wish it lasts longer!

I was a bit sceptical about buying this product expecting it to not as good as it was made out to be, but instead, I'm thoroughly pleased with it. What I like in particular is that it's rechargeable so it doesn't always need to be plugged in all the time (reducing the amount of wires running to my desk), plus the fact it's slim design makes it ideal to be used as a bedside lamp when needed. Would definitely recommend it!
