Sponeta Protective cover

Bought this as a cover for our Butterfly outdoor table tennis table and, generally, we're pleased with it. It's certainly better than the one that came with the table which was heavy duty but ripped after a year's use. Generous size so it's easy to get on and off especially with the two zips. Possibly too generous for our size of table as there's considerable slack which means the wind can whip it around in stormy weather. We've solved this by buying a couple of ratchet straps to hold the cover in place without flapping. The ties on the bottom were fiddly and difficult to access because our table sits very low on its castors. This probably wouldn't be a problem with other tables. It seems a bit flimsy compared with our other cover so we're not sure how long it will last in a windy, wet garden but, all in all, we're happy with our purchase.

I bought one of these in October 2015, it has lasted well, through all weathers, and has kept the table sheltered from the elements well. It now needs replacing as there are a couple of holes, but these may due to rubbing branches as anything else. I'm happy with how well it has lasted compared to reviews for other covers -it has not ripped or torn at the top corners.It is quite large - easy to get on and off - but does need tying or weighing down.I'm less happy that it is now £10 more than 2 1/2 years ago

This is a generous fit, even without the zips. Cords that run underneath are not that special - bit short and thin compared to previous one. Basically sun and the elements soon seem t take their toll on these things so I guess every second or third year they need replacing. When is some one going to find a fabric/plastic that lasts 5 years?I put small old folded towels over the corners of the table to help stop the rubbing from the wind.The usual issue of a valley in the top too. Perhaps they could design these with a stiffened top section.

I put this onto our table which lives outside and found it relatively easy to put on single handed. As we live on a hill, we always have wind and all was well until we started to have strong winds. The plastic itself is fine but the ties at the bottom snapped which allowed the cover to fly away into the garden. I have now inserted heavier duty ties and this has so far sorted the problem.

A good quality product, material same study and fits very well with extra room . Only problem is when we get a lot of rain, the rain sits on top. however, I don't see any way around it with the size and shape of my table.

I bought this to replace the original (identical) cover that was purchased about three years ago and had ripped in several places. So this is great and does what it is supposed to, but if it's kept outside in all weather it will deteriorate in time.

The size was very generous which means rain water can accumulate on the top instead of it being tight so that it runs off. The material seems very robust so should weather well. Overall - happy with this product.

Cover arrived on the last date given. It was easy to place on the table, which is kept outdoors, but surprised that the four upper corners had not been reinforced. This would have been an improvement on previous cover which had all failed at the top corners. Time will tell.
