I've found this incredibly useful, especially for tidying electric cables when they're not in use. Simply wind up the cable, wrap enough round to give a firm overlap, then cut. As it's only narrow, it's easy to undo when needed, and is suitable for fine cables such as mp3 player earphones to larger mains cables. As it's cut to length, there's no waste, nor is there a huge bulk of fastener to make it impractical or unsightly. If you've got a drawer or cupboard with lots of things with cables thrown into it (e.g. phone chargers, hairdryers, headphones) and find that it's like unravelling spaghetti when you want to use something, then this is definitely something that will cure the problem. Better than elastic bands (that perish and break) or cable twists (the wire often works it's way out of the end of the twist to pierce fingers, etc) or string (how many times does that supposedly easy-to-undo knot just become permanent so you have to just cut the string?). I thought I'd need more than one roll after I'd been round everything in the house, but I've been pleasantly surprised at just how far it's gone, however, if I do run out, I'll definitely be buying more of the same.

I love this product. I cut off as much as I need, so no waste. I almost bought the set of 5 single velcro ties, and am glad I didn't. It would have been poor value. I also like the width. It still works on thicker cables, but is 'delicate' enough to work on my phone charger without looking like overkill! It has tidied up most every cord in the house, including the tv cable in the kitchen (finally the kitchen counter looks tidy!) my phone charger and laptop power cord, which travels in my briefcase and is always tangled with stuff. One tip: I used a hot glue gun and hot glued in place one end of the velcro tie wrapped around the power cord, so it stays on the cord even when I unwrap the velcro strap. That way it doesn't go missing. I travel alot, and my phone and laptop cables are now neatly in one corner of my luggage. Great product.

Velcro tie for securing cables. Does what it says on the tin. A decent size roll. A little of this goes a long way so shouldn't need to re-buy for quite some sime

I love this stuff, its come in so handy and has a million and one uses! I used it to secure camping equipment to a bag that wasn't originally intended to hold such items. Its double sided so no routing around trying to find the loops to go with the hooks! :) It doesn't (well it hasn't so far) pull fabric so can be used with alot of materials. I also find it great for tidying up mobile phone and other cables too, you only need a little bit, but with a length of 5m, theres more than enough to go around. It also uses well, so you can recycle it for different projects.

This stuff is great. Unlike other Velcro products on the market both sides of this Velcro feel smooth and soft to the touch. This is very important if your trying to use this stuff to secure delicate items which you don't want to get caught on large Velcro hooks which you get on cheaper versions. Crucially it only sticks to itself, not to everything else. Other than that, it's easy to cut and once it's stuck to itself it's very strong and secure. The only cable ties you need. As a builder of pedalboards and also lots of IT installations, this is essential. You no longer have to have a tie that is too short, or too long - they fit just right and take up as little space as possible. You can reuse, recut and just keep using them. I've been a cable tie geek for years, and these are my favourite - they work out much cheaper too. Also you can build a loom, and moving it you don't slack your fingers to bits on plastic ties that you have cut off. Even my wife started using them and she generally kept cables like she was going to nest in them until the last few years.

Eenvoudig en efficiënt!

Salve, ho acquistato questo nastro da 5 metri perchè volevo dare un po di ordine ai vari cavi pc e cavetti che ho in casa. Devo dire che sono veramente soddisfatto dell' acquisto, di volta in volta ho tagliato la lunghezza che mi serviva per i vari cavi. Il nastro non è molto largo ma funziona benissimo, lo strappo è molto solido e si riutilizza benissimo. Poi lato positivissimo il costo, ad oggi ho chiuso decine di cavi ed ho ancora più della metà di velcro. Penso che se avessi acquistato le fascette che vengono vendute sciolte avrei pagato 10 volte tanto. Inoltre è poco ingombrante l'ho sempre con me pronto all'uso.
