Revised: ring became loose after a few weeks so cannot use as a stand
Revised update Dec 2017 - the ring became very loose and cannot be used as a stand anymore. The magnet still works great and strong but wasn't the main reason for me buying this.My previous purchase of a ring holder was awful and didn't stick to my phone at all. Purchased these to give it a try and by far it's a better quality. The magnetic ball holder works great in the car and even with my case on it holds in place very well doesn't move with the car motions. Have purchased another 2 for the kids phones as I was so impressed!

This product is absolutely useless. I don't know why it has such good reviews.I was able to attach the ring holder to phone (a redmi note 4) but the mount did not stick to the dashboard of my car or any other surface on my car. I'm now left with this annoying ring holder stuck to the back of my phone. I have tried many time to remove it, but the strength of the magnet and the sticky back makes this virtually impossible without damaging my phone.You've been warned. Stay clear of this item.
