KitchenCraft Le'Xpress 3-Cup Stove Top Espresso Maker, 150 ml

The product does not have any safety precautions , it was left on the hob and has melted everything and destroyed the cooker , my home smells of burnt rubber . Is this a genuine product? Happy to send it back to manufacturer for testing ?

When the product arrived, apart from the terrible quality (not even worth 5 pounds honestly), the product came with a sticky stain inside the coffee filter, which is inside the pot, so it was definitely opened by someone else before arriving at my hands. Additionally, the filter (I repeat, that thing that is INSIDE the pot and should definitely be hard to get harmed by transportation), has some weird scratches. After the huge troubles for getting a refund because of my current situation (I'm quarantining because I just arrived to the UK) and my huge need for a coffee pot, I decided to keep it and I put it in the washing machine to make sure it was thoroughly disinfected. Surprise surprise, some weird black sort of dirt (i guess is paint coming off??? I have no idea honestly), started appearing. I have never had problems having coffee pots in dishwashers before, no matter how cheap. Defiintely would not recommend!!

I have used this brand for a few years now. The first Mocha pot - same company - I bought a few years did the job it was meant to do. I had it for 3+ years but had to sadly replace it as its handle broke. I opted for the same product which I bought a few weeks ago. I have to say I am very disspointed with the product this time around.The mocha pot feels like it is made of a slightly lesser quality material. It's not as sturdy as my first mocha pot. And the worse bit is, it does not work as well as the first pot did. To be precise, not all the water filters through the coffee and there is always residual water. I have tried everything that I could, tightening it better, less coffee, more coffee, thorough cleaning but with no success. Having loved the previous mocha pot from the same brand, I have to say I am left with a bitter taste this time round. My only conclusion is perhaps, the quality of the product has deteriorated over time, which is sad!

I’ve got to say I’ve terribly disappointed that the handle fell off. I only bought it a couple of weeks ago and the handle fell off whilst I was removing it from the stove causing me serious hand burns. Poor quality made product... :(

My pot arrived a few days ago and it’s just about ok. It seems well made (no leaks) and was well packaged and came with instructions.However it makes the smallest amount of coffee ever! Three cups?!! Three thimbles more like. This will just about make two tiny expresso’s or about a third of a normal sized coffee mug. And it takes a lot of ground coffee to produce a tiny amount of liquid.Having used it twice I think it’ll be consigned to to the back of the cupboard with my Breville sandwich maker and my 1970’s Soda-stream.

I read so many reviews before buying it and was afraid that it would break soon or discolour etc. I received this little guy on 9th of February and was waiting to write a review. I've been using it every day since 9th and it works perfectly.Tips:- Do not fill it up to the top, follow the instructions, otherwise - a. the coffee will get wet; b. it will leak a bit while boiling.- Use good quality coffee and right grind - if you put cheap, bad coffee, you will get a bad one.- when washing - do not use the scourer side of the sponge - a. there's no need and b. it will lose the shine, obviously.See the photos below - I took them just now - you can see my reflection, it's still so shiny.

The quality is poor. The valve doesn’t work properly - it makes coffee to splat all the time. The plastic on the handle is so cheap - it broke on the third time I used the coffee maker. I don’t recommend.

When it boils there is a lot of spillage that leaks. The seal is not very great as it prevents the pot from working properly an requires a good squeeze to secure the seal. When the seal is tightened it becomes harder to wash due to the expansion from the heat.
