Is this battery compatible with TG-310 model?

I have an Olypus 790 SW Camera, and it is compatible with this model.

Why do people give such different reviews? Some say it is really great while some others say it is rubbish. does it matter who you buy it from?

My camera still displays a low battery warning sign despite replacing the battery but I can't say for sure whether or not it is the battery or the camera is at faulty. I suspect it is the battery but I am reluctant to spend more money on another replacement battery from the same source.
