A 'Matcha' Made in Heaven!
The reason I ordered the Pure Matcha premium rooibos powder was curiosity ... plain and simple. I enjoy a cup of rooibos tea almost every day and especially like knowing that it is a heathly beverage. Most of the rooibos teas I order are flavored with bits of fruit or mint. I don't think I've had a cup of plain rooibos until I purchased the Pure Matcha rooibos. It's absolutely delicious! I'm so glad I took a chance and tried the powdered rooibos.

Delicious on it's own, but I also use it for an instant chai mix, and sometimes add it to my hot chocolate! Product arrived in perfect condition. There is a pull tab seal under the screw lid to maintain freshness.

Smooth and bold aroma
My favorite Rooibos matcha. Other brands have filler or a dusty and bland smell / flavor. This brand is smooth and quite bold in taste and aroma. Would like to find a less expensive brand that can match it, but so far I've had zero luck. Not sure one exists.

Love Pure Matcha products!
I love Rooibos tea, but especially like the powdered matcha from Pure Matcha. One teaspoon and I get a 16 oz latte that is better than any you can get in the store. A little goes a long way, and one of these small containers lasts a while so for me is cost effective as well. I always have this and the green matcha in my cabinet.

Sorry to say that I am disappointed: compared to red espresso
I am a regular green tea matcha drinker who recently discovered Rooibos in the form of "Red Espresso" at a local cafe. Naturally I was curious to try red matcha. Sorry to say that I am disappointed: compared to red espresso, the flavor is much duller, and earthy/dusty-tasting instead of sweet and fragrant. Side by side they almost don't taste like the same plant/tea. Perhaps it's not that surprising since green tea and green matcha taste very differently as well. So this is more a note to alert buyers of the difference.

Tastes richer and fuller than loose leaf teas.
I gave this a try with skepticism and I have to say this is by far the best. Very smooth and dissolves fast. More flavorful than most any loose leaf teas I have had. You will not be dissatisfied.

new to rooibos tea
I gave this tea a try to add variety to my tea habit. And I'm glad I did. It has a somewhat sweet and almost minty taste and a wonderful aroma. It has a nice reddish color. This tea probably has more of a taste factor than any of the wonderful japanese green matcha tea I've had, and I look forward to experiencing any of the purported health benefits of rooibos that I've read about.
