Bassfish Bass Guitar- Black

I got my bassfish 3 months ago. I loved it at first,I like the shortscale with the wider neck radius, the playability is really great. It's perfect for a travel bass, lightweight and very portable. But mine has a few issues which I will need to get rectified. The jack is too loose, which for a travel bass does not help. I bought it mainly to use with a vox headphone amp, which falls out easily when your playing (frustrating). The strings sound uneven, the E sounding dirtier & grungier than the A D & G, which sound cleaner. I changed the strings and that helped a little, but they are still inconsistent. The pickups might need to be adjusted a little to fix that, or change the pickups altogether. Customer support isn't very good. You cant get a hold of them easily and they dont call you back. The price is very reasonable, but you will more than likely be spending more money getting it fixed. I do realize they are primarily made for children, and they will more than likely not be too bothered by any of the before mentioned problems. All in all I don't highly recommend this bass. I will keep mine though and just spend what I need getting it fixed, turning a $180 bass into a $350 to $400 one. I wish I knew more at the time when I bought it, I would have went with something else.
