Samsung Memory 128 GB EVO Plus MicroSDXC UHS-I Grade 1 Class 10 Memory Card with SD Adapter - Black/Red/White

I’ve brought this for my father’s phone, who has the same model as me, I’m running the SanDisk Ultra Android 128 GB MicroSDXC card, so I thought I’d purchase this card for his to compare. I’ve found no discernible difference, both cards work really well and have been pretty responsive when running media like docs, photos and movies straight from the card. I choose the frustration free packaging option for this card, it came in a plain brown cardboard envelope with easy tear off the packaging. Once removed the card and its micro SD adaptor was inside a small plastic container keeping them safe until use. As you can see in the pictures it comes with a sheet of the amount of storage it can hold for files such as photos, mp3 and videos. It’s quite impressive as an indicator, but you’re more than likely to have a combination of these files. I ran a quick test downloading H2testw. To make sure it was legit (you can never be too careful) and placed it inside the phone. It’s great works exactly as expected. It’s fast, it pulls up documents and media files really fast, the only lag really being the phone as opposed to the SHDC card. Samsung is a well know global trustworthy brand so they know exactly what they are doing. Between the Samsung and the Sandisk, there is not much in it. Samsung does electronics and SanDisk are memory experts. But really if there is a significant price difference between the two brands and I need to get a memory card then I’ll opt for the cheapest with the knowledge that they both are very good.

Bought to be installed permanently in a Nifty MiniDrive for my MacBook Pro 15 Retina, this is exactly what this storage solution needed. The Samsung EVO Plus provides speedy, consistent and reliable read/write access and has effectively doubled the internal storage in my SSD based Mac laptop. This is certainly a new field for growth as laptops and desktop-substitute tablets increasingly utilise SSD's with very modest storage capacities, and demands increase for low cost, tiny storage solution. Many devices already come with slots to accomodate these storage cards, bussed directly into the motherboard and the system with no need for bridges or piggyback devices, and I already use EvoPlus cards on my tablets, my SurfacePro and my smartphone. Aside from the speed and consistency, in my experience Samsung are established as one of the more trouble-free producers of storage cards with a solid track record, a good reputation for quality and of course a long warranty which demonstrates the company's belief in their products.

Very good card and fast for its price and capacity. Write speed is around 18 MB/s and read speed is around 60 MB/s. It takes around 1 hour and 50 minutes to fill it which is actually pretty good for a micro sd card (not full sized sd cards) (at this price range). Therefore, I disagree with the other reviewer that said that the write speed drops down to crawl. The figures I mentioned above was to fill the whole card and read it all the data written back. Probably the other reviewer got a defective unit, has a slow pc/device or was transferring thousands of really small files. Also it has relatively good speed for small file transfer for its price range (4Kb from the benchmarks pictures attached). Its a good idea to check your card if it has the advertised capacity when buying it, with h2testw (google it, it is a simple program that fills the drive and then verifies that everything is ok by reading it), since there are many fakes (probably not on amazon). A tip for persons who want to use this card for backup: If you have a lot of small files and it totals to many GBs eg 50, add your files to a zip file and then add the zip file to the card. The transfer speed will be significantly faster (more than 20x). I had that card for around a year without problems. I recommend it.

An excellent product. Very fast read and write, and certainly up to the tasks its specification states. I'd give it 5 stars if it had the capacity stated on the box, but this is still very good value at 119 GB. If the 10 year warranty holds true, then this should prove a good investment. I had a 64 GB Scandisk card that died, and was replaced under warranty (2 years into 10 year) with a blistertingly fast new one. This one seems as fast - I haven't measured its speed, but it didn't take long to transfer 50 GB of mp3 files. Would certainly recommend.

I just got a Samsung S8 Plus and wanted to get a storage card to go into it. My Note 5 didn't have the ability to use a card so I needed to get a new one. But which one? There are so many out there! I originally wanted a much more expensive card that I saw but I couldn't justify the price. I just want to store pics, music, and apps on the card and everything is backed up to the cloud on one of my computers so I decided on this Samsung 128GB EVO. It wasn't super cheap but didn't break the bank either for such a large capacity card. It came in retail packaging. A cardboard card with plastic overlay with the small card on one side and the adapter on the other. I didn't have to format this card and it just started to work immediately. I have lots of stuff on there now and it's fast. I downloaded some things to the card and uploaded some things from the card and I found the speed to be great. So far, all is working wonderfully. Naturally, the test of time is the biggest one so I will update if there are any issues as time goes by. Right now. I really feel I mad the right choice and this card fits my needs perfectly.

Ottima scheda MicroSD, prima però un paio di consigli su come identificare un eventuale scheda NON originale: Purtroppo questo lo potrete fare una volta ricevuta la scheda ma vi eviterebbe di perdere preziosi dati installandola nel vostro dispositivo. In ogni caso affidatevi a prodotti venduti e spediti da Amazon. Per prima cosa se acquistate un taglio da 64GB o maggiore, sulla confezione deve essere riportato la dicitura SD-XC (e non SD-HC che è per i tagli inferiori di memoria). Verificate che questo sia scritto anche nel retro della confezione. Anche visivamente la confezione deve essere di buona qualità, spesso i falsi utilizzano scarsa qualità di stampa per immagini e descrizioni. Per quanto riguarda le schedine Samsung, tutte riportano la capacità (32GB,64GB etc) anche sulla confezione, su molti fake non c'è. Le schedine false hanno di solito capacità inferiori (spesso 8GB, ma i sistemi le riconoscono come 32 o 64) e velocità di scrittura/lettura molto inferiore. Ci sono dei programmini per pc che rilevano tutto questo. Infine, alcuni produttori di falsi, addirittura propongono prodotti che la casa madre nemmeno ha in catalogo (tipo sd da 1000GB...), quindi verificate sempre sul sito del produttore i prodotti che intendete acquistare. Ma veniamo alla schedina: Ho installato questa MicroSD sul mio smartphone (ASUS, quindi piena compatibilità con telefoni non Samsung a patto che supportino le dimensioni della schedina stessa, ma questo vale per qualsiasi brand di SD) da poco più di un mese. Dopo aver copiato pari pari il contenuto della vecchia schedina nella nuova Samsung da 64GB, l'ho installata nello smartphone. Acceso il dispositivo, l'ha subito riconosciuta ed ho da subito ritrovato tutti i percorsi (foto-video etc.) Successivamente ho eseguito dei test di capienza e velocità. I risultati sono questi: Velocità di scrittura (media di 3 test) : 27MB/s Velocità di lettura :58,5 MB/s Quindi più che doppiati i parametri standard della classe UHS 1 (minimo garantito di scrittura 10MB/s). Pertanto solo se siete intenzionati a fare video in 4K (che è la risoluzione superiore al FullHD) dovrete puntare ad un modello più prestazionale (con caratteristica U3 che garantisce un minimo di scrittura di 30MB/s), per tutti gli altri usi è perfetta in termini di qualità, velocità ed essendo una versione EVO+ dà anche una certa tranquillità in termini di durata ed affidabilità (personalmente non risparmierei 3-4 euro per un modello di qualità inferiore.....). Per quanto riguarda la capacità totali siamo a poco più di 59GB (quantità disponibile standard per il taglio di tutti i device da 64GB). E' una più che buona quantità di spazio per garantire tantissime foto e canzoni. Ed anche consente di contenere una buona dose di video in FullHD. Per quanto riguarda la compatibilità, come accennavo all'inizio, l'unico limite può derivare dal dispositivo in cui lo installate (sia esso fotocamera, smartphone, dashCAM o altro), ovvero la capacità del dispositivo a leggere una scheda di queste dimensioni : troverete questa informazione nei libretti di uso, oppure ancora più facilmente digitando in internet il vostro prodotto per trovarne le caratteristiche. Un consiglio: Prima di aggiungere al carrello, verificate che sia "VENDUTA E SPEDITA DA AMAZON" in modo di avere tranquillità per la spedizione e soprattutto per essere certi di ricevere il prodotto ORIGINALE SAMSUNG e non cloni che non vi garantirebbero tutte le caratteristiche ottime di questa schedina MicroSD!!

Gute SD-Karte, von der erwarteter Samsung-Qualität.

Die Karte überträgt sehr schnell Daten genau das wollte ich und schreiben tut sie genau so schnell. Und ein guter Preis. Die Lieferung ist zwar nicht am angegebenen Tag angekommen aber dafür war es Top Qualität. Mit Adapter nicht beschädigt. Andere Speicherkarten sind mindestens 10-20% teurer.

Für mein Huawei Smartphone war ich auf der Suche nach einer passenden SD Karte, die reichlich Speicherkapazität für massenhaft Lieder und Bilder aufweist. Da ich in der Vergangenheit ein Smartphone mit einer internen Speicherkapazität von 16GB hatte, welches mir nicht ansatzweise ausreichte, habe ich mich daraufhin für die Samsung Micro SDXC EVO Plus in der 128 GB Ausgabe entschieden. Auf Grund von mehreren Bestellungen wurde mir die Speicherkarte zusammen mit einem Produkt in der gewohnten Verpackung von Amazon geliefert und enthielt die Speicherkarte sowie den SD Adapter für die Speicherkarte alles in einem Plastikcase. Ich habe die Karte sofort eingesetzt und sie lies sich problemlos in mein Smartphone einfügen und wurde ebenfalls sofort erkannt. Da ich leider kein Lesegerät besitze kann ich nur von meiner subjektiven Meinung bezüglich der Datenübertragung berichten. Es wurden etliche Apps, Bilder, Musikdateien und Dokumente in meiner Meinung nach sehr zügiger Schreibgeschwindigkeit übertragen. Da ich in der Vergangenheit bereits mehrere Speicherkarten besessen habe, kann ich daher sagen, dass ich mit der Übertragungsrate der SD Karte sehr zufrieden war. Sämtliche Übertragungen, sei es vom Smartphone auf den Laptop oder umgekehrt fanden reibungslos statt und nach jetzt gut 3 wöchiger Nutzung kann ich bis dato noch keine Probleme feststellen. Auf Grund dieser Fakten ist die Samsung Speicherkarte für diesen Preis eine eindeutige Kaufempfehlung.
