Good introduction to Spanish
I can see there are a lot of negative reviews. I don't know Spanish myself but from it sounds it seems like it's a good introduction to Spanish for children. They will learn how to say their name and age, also count to 10 and names of months and colours. Got it for my 5 and 7 years olds, but now my 2 years old starts repeating phrases. He will say: ola, que tal? Very cute...

Splendid!!!!!
I am English and live in France with my 2 children ,aged 4 and 2 - their dad is French; they are textbook bilingual.I decided that I should introduce - in a fun way - a third language. This CD is JUST what I was after!!!!! It's a wonderfully logically set out fun language cd. My 2 year old was happily repeating the speaker ( of course in a 2 year old way, but it's there ) and my 4 year old was ( as instructed ) listening out for specific words. It has numbers, colours, days, months ,the alphabet, plus fun ditties like Polly Put the Kettle On, Old McDonald...It's great!!!! It has the children say basics like name, age, - it makes the children pround , and so motivated, to know they can say full sentences in Spanish, basic as they may be.It teaches children to draw from their own language (in my tot's case, lanuages!!! ) for understanding, and helps tune their ear to totally foriegn sounds. Can't speak highly enough of this cd. I'm just sorry there doesn't seem to be a vol.2!!!!!A superb way to introduce a new language. Fun learning at its best!!!

Good - An English Production!
I am quite pleased with this CD. Having been teaching my daughter Spanish since birth (or rather, trying) it is hard to put into words how hard this can be when there simpy isn't the material out there to support you. Most courses/ DVDs etc. are American productions and so are Mexican/ Latin American Spanish. The narrator on this CD speaks with an English accent and my daughter seems willing enough to listen to it and repeat and join in with the fun songs. Good value and worth getting to add to your collection to support you in the laborious and sometimes frustrating task of teaching your child(ren) Spanish!

a lot of english
too much teacher talk time. but my 3.5 year old likes it, we just listen to the songs. I do feel there is a bit to much english spoken. But LO asks for it every time we get in the car. Job done.

Very pleased
My 3 year old little boy loves this and always asks me to put his CD on in the car. Songs are really good to help remember numbers, colours. I catch my son singing them sometimes so even children younger than stated can benefit.

Very basic
Very basic words and would be nice if there was more spoken spanish and instructions translated into spanish but over all my son listens to the music in the car and seems to enjoy it which is the most important thing I suppose. I would recommend for complete beginners. In saying that my son is only 2 and its hard to find full spanish learning products with only basic english instruction in them. I think at this age, its the listening to the words thats important, not the actual content. I'm sure it would be ok for a four yr old but 5+ I think they would get a bit bored after listening a couple of times
