Excellent for Film Studies
I utilised this movie when teaching on the YouTube University Student Federal Service Jessica Nel jessicathinkscreative TM. The students loved the movie and so do I. Bradley Cooper electric blue eyes and Robert De Niro powerful performance as well as the complex themes surrounding neuroplasticity and the fast paced energy of the film... from underground crime to the top of Wall Street.. brilliant movie.

A creative film when we need one.
These days film companies shovel out the same s*** over and over again just to make a quick buck. Quality is valued less and less because of the huge amout of idiots in the world that pay to watch films like Twilight, as a result Hollywood etc can get away with all the s*** but now and then when their sat at the idea table thinking about a new film one modern-day Braveheart will say " We should make a good film, with a good story and budget!!" .This is one of those films. It has a intense and intriguing narrative with superb acting, high budget and originality. The story is set in the future where"Loopers" are paid to kill people that are sent to them from the future then dispose of them cleanly, this allows people of the further future to gurantee that their victims will never be found and they can remain innocent. Then Joseph Gordon-Levitt is tasked with killing his future self and unfortunately for him his future self (Bruce Willis) is an extremely large badass and so J.G.L fails to kill Bruce Willis. And so the immersive thriller begins.I really enjoyed this film and in my opinion it's one of the best of 2012. I would recommend this to anyone with a taste for thrillers, sci-if, good acting and story or something different and original.

Wow
What can i say we have been very lucky with psychological thrillers in the last few years, and this one being super. I was very impressed with the film, not the most original plotline and sometimes even shadowing inception in some parts. A very empowering and gripping thriller with a bit of a twist. Having not seen this at the cinema (almost same price as film by the way!) i saw an advert and thought "hey, that looks great" so i got it, and glad i did. Great for thriller fans, however if your a psychological thriller 'nut', i'd urge you to steer clear as the generic plot will make you laugh.10/10! Brilliant film.

Brilliant film
Got this as a present for a friend and having watched it myself it's a brilliant film. Cooper has the ability to be a great actor with the right script and this film had that, while i found it confusing at times the first time round it made much more sense the second time round. It was an intriguing story and concept that kept me entertained throughout the film with plenty of twists. Enjoyable film you could easily find yourself watching again and again. As for Cooper as an actor the sky could be the limit, he has seemingly come into his own starring in films such as the hangover, the a-team and this among others. All enjoyable films depending on your own personal taste

Good Movie shame about the un-skippable ads and disk options
Once you get over the inevitable problems associated with time travel in movies, plus a few of the other features of the situation loopers find themselves in this is an above par sci-fi movie with engaging characters and a good mix of suspense and action, even a little romance.Unfortunately the bozos who mastered the BD thought it was acceptable to put four unskippable trailers for other movies plus an advert for Maltesers which you must sit through every time you play the disk. The main menu button and the next track buttons are disallowed so the only way to get past these is to wazz up the fast forward at the beginning of each ad.The menus are also badly done as the selected option is highlighted via a black background but since the white text is already on a dark background it is hard to see what you are selecting.Turning on subtitles also suffers from this poor colour scheme, and is necessary because the soundtrack goes from inaudible whispers to loud action scenes.

Better Living Through Pharmaceuticals
Our hero, played by Bradley Cooper, is a failed author (though more because he can never start rather than his book is bad), failed husband, failed tenant, and failed boyfriend. Let's face it kids, he's a bust. But one day he takes a mind-enhancing drug and is off on a roller-coaster course to fame, riches, dependency and crime. The visual representation of both his highs and lows is executed to a high standard. Even Robert de Niro's rare moments on screen are good. There is also a splendid villain. The journey through learning about the drug, dependency, escape and resolution is done in action movie style without sacrificing the story line.Way better than I had expected.
