3mm MDF MEDITE Laser Quality MDF Sheet A3 Size 30 Sheets by Daisymoon Designs

I'm an avid crafter and I used these to create vertical walls between two shelves to house my die books. They were an ideal size and perfect for the job. I have some offcuts and whole sheets left to do some mixed media stuff. All in all, a great choice, a great price, and they were delivered on time. Fully recommended.

Boards are very strong, but 40W laser cuts through very easily on medium power, easier than some chipboard half that thick. No dust or ash, there's some hard resin like brown layer on the sides of the cuts, but it's not making hands dirty and smells like pine tree. Absolutely no need to do any cleaning of the edges after cutting, which is a major plus for me. Material is strong, stiff, flat. Paint does not soak in, but stays firmly on the surface, which means one layer of paint is enough to cover it. It does produce quite much smoke while cutting, I guess it's because it cuts through 3mm so quick. You absolutely must have air assist and proper vent setup or the smoke will obscure the laser, but with that in place, it's good.

As with most other reviewers, I bought these to paint on. They arrived in perfect condition, no corners crushed or dents or marks! For the price, I now have 30 boards to paint on. I have already made a start. Great value for money!

great practice boards but as i put my art in frames they have to be trimmed and finessed to fit they are up to 4 mm out of square and size other than that they are cheap and they turnup well packaged if i wasnt framing them just using them to paint on they would have got a 5 star rating

I use a lot of MDF in my projects including 3mm so when I saw these I purchased. They are fairly good for hat I need, useful for painting on rather than just bare surfaces.

these are brilliant to work on, simple bit of sanding and priming and I have 30 boards to draw and paint on! brilliant price!

Good quality, cuts very well. Fits the GF bed.

get if you are painting the pieces you cut or you are not concerned with it looking like wood, much cheaper than ply

Quando l'ho comprato aveva un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (circa 1€ a foglio). Non sono più riuscito a trovarlo a quel prezzo, ma se vi interessa ugualmente vi dico che è ottimo per le incisioni laser

i tried a few different 3mm mdf plates you can order on amazon, and these from Daisy Moon are the best for Lasercutting purposes, (80w CO2 laser), atleast in my opinion. The boards are all flat, hard, rather resistant to moisture, take up dye and paint evenly and doesnt have dark fibers. its really homogenous and different pieces just vary slightly in coloration if at all compared to all the other stuff i got on amazon and local.

Hatte mir die Platten für meine kleine CNC Fräse geholt .Zum lasern sind die Platten super.Man muss je nach Laserstärke öfter abfahren ,aber das Ergebniss bei mir war gut.15Watt Laser soll ich haben ,da müsste ich 6 Mal lang fahren bis ich durch war...

Si presta bene pure ad essere verniciato con l'impregnante per legno, diventando quindi anche resistente all'acqua. Facilmente tagliabile e suffucentemente robusto per costruire scatole. Io lo uso per costruire tastiere MIDI e scatole di pannelli di controllo per CNC.
