1 Game Disc Review: Pay the Ghosts - At the time of writing, this game cost less than £3. You really aren't going to go wrong for that amount of money, but so far I'm finding this game totally enjoyable. I was never a fan of this type of game in the past, until I picked up a copy of Black Ops on Xbox when it came out. That turned me, and although I'm still unable to maintain a positive kill/death ratio, I'll keep coming back for more. There are some small maps included here, and some really quite big ones. The level of detail is great for both, and if I ever see you in a multiplayer game of this; you can bet your life I'll be the one walking casually through the middle of the map without any care for my own personal saf...oh great, killed again. There are some reviews of this game that imply this game is just for the campers; the ones who like to lie in wait with a sniper rifle and pick you off when you haven't even finished respawning from the last death. My experience hasn't been the same; some of these maps offer that kind of experience, the large outdoor areas such as the Scotland map are perfect for this, but there are also several close-quarters maps, where you need to keep moving before being trodden on. And then knifed in the back before you've even registered there was anybody there. As part of the COD franchise, and for this price point - this is a great game. The story mode is full of cut-scenes, but plays well, there's the option to play multiplayer games against bots; ideal for idiots like me who really have no clue how to be good at this game, and there's also an extra game type: Extinction, where you pit your wits against some alien scum. Overall, this is well worth getting, and in my opinion is better than others in the franchise. Go get this, and I'll see you online. Okay, I probably won't see you online, but you'll undoubtedly see me, and I'll feel your bullets. Review: At less than the price of the postage to send it – what are you waiting for? Buy it. - When a game premiers and you're looking at the prospect of investing £40.00 quid on something that may or may not live up to the price tag, gamers and reviewers alike have the right to be cautious. However, when you can pick the same thing up used for less than the postage, nobody has anything to complain about. Buy the damn thing. That's really all there is, meaningful, to say. Though short – I think Ghosts campaign clocks up around 6 hours – those 6 hours are packed with plenty of gun blazing boo-yah! and visual spectacle by the bucket. You do the Moonraker space battle thing, only it looks seriously good. There's a bit where you have to egress a collapsing building that's splitting in two, a la Transformers: Dark Side of The Moon. An underwater battle scene that could be lifted straight from Thunderball, a blazing gun-fight across the top of a speeding train. Strongholds to infiltrate worthy of any Bond villains lair a-plenty. Plus. You get to drive a bitey dog... I found no downside to call of Duty: Ghosts - aside from not being able to get the dog to poop in the path of enemies so as they have to step in it and then go through all the rigmarole of trying to get it off their boot - how could anyone not put that in a game with a bitey, remote controlled dog in it? That's just seriously taking they eye off the dogs chewy-ball... Combat has the fluid ease you come to expect from the COD franchise, the story is jingoism personified - oh those poor, down trodden Americans who never climb up the pipes of anyone, surrounded on all sides by so many who seek to invade America simply for the sake of teaching them an important life-lesson about playing nice-with-others.... Though the story's appended to these things – and they are pretty much stapled on just to justify whatever level you're playing – Ghosts (fortunately) isn't a universal primer on how right America is and how very wrong everyone else is. Even though (story-wise) it is, just a hell of a lot. Think of instead as a Michael Bay movie you can actively take part in and – rampant nationalism aside – you can rip through it perfectly happily. The levels are fun. Though large they're balanced enough to allow you to enjoy each section without wanting to throw your controller at the TV in sheer frustration too often, there's also plenty of other stuff to throw yourself into on the disc as well, including Squads and Extinction. At less than the price of the postage to send it – what are you waiting for? Buy it.

New content but still very familiar
This is only going to be a short review as there isn't much to say... This game is very different to Black Ops 2 which is mainly a good thing as it shows development and innovation. The new game modes are a lot of fun and 'Cranked' is a personal favorite of mine. The game feels quite similar to MW3 as it's fast paced and you're likely to die a lot at first. This is mainly due to the new map design as it is no longer linear paths of occasional sight lines and a middle part which has lots of avenues. Instead it is a cluster of corridors, floors and passages. This leads to chaos as you could be in the process of an ambush then you get ambushed and then he/she gets ambushed and so on. This make camping a little harder so that is a plus but one aspect that is effected is spawning, 60% of the time it's fine the other 40% is split. 20% 'spawn killed' the other 20% away from the action. To expand you can find yourself at the top of the map with all your teammates pinning down all the enemies when you die you sometimes end up at the bottom of the map and then have to run for 25-45 seconds as the maps are huge on Ghosts. The multiplayer experience is very familiar and you won't feel lost if you have played COD before. Lastly I like the edition of some game mechanics such as the sprint to slide and the mantling. These are very much part of my game now. The lean feature is a cool idea but isn't really a game changer. I'm about the 3/4 the way through the campaign and haven't been massively impressed but it's not bad. The visuals are very similar but they have utilized different environments such as space and sea to give you a new kind of mission feel. I expect them to look a lot better on PS4. To wrap this up it's worth purchasing as it does have some new neat features and will quench your thirst for a FPS as COD always does.

Great
Call of Duty:Ghosts, is a step up from some of the previous call of duty's such as Modern Warfare 3. The campaign is fun, of a decent length and despite missions in space and underwater, maintains realism. The new squads mode is an interesting idea, and customising your character buying upgrades and kill-streaks gives you something to work for once you have finished the campaign. Extinction despite negative reviews is fun and a twist on the usual standard Zombies, it also increases team work with ammo, grenades and reinforcement required at various times, it gives you a reason to aid your team instead of playing purely for yourself as in previous Zombie modes. The Multi-player is also more exciting and well-worked, new kill-streaks and weapons prevents you from losing interest like in other Infinity Ward games. The main complaint about this game is the size of the maps. I agree some are a bit larger than necessary but in no way ruins the game and the majority of the negative reviews are by rival fans who favour the Battlefield franchise and only play it for 'one hour' to work out complaints. Lets face it CoD isnt Battlefield and Battlefield isnt CoD, they're different games, they always will be, but in terms of current gen, Call of Duty: Ghosts far out does Battlefield 4 in textures, graphics and content this may not be the case for next gen consoles but currently that's how it stands. This game is action packed, exciting and what you expect from Call of Duty plus more it's not perfect there are slight tweaks that can be made but a simple update would sort them and as for the big maps infinity ward are likely to be bringing out close quarters maps in the near future despite some negative reviews its worth the buy.

Half and Half
I wish I could be more generous with this review but sadly I can't. Apart from World at War I've have got all the cods since COD4. And the worst of them was Black Ops, the next worse was Mw3 and the one after that is this game. As the title suggests I give this game half and half because I really did enjoy the campaign of this game and it was the most fun I had had in a campaign since Cod4. The cinematics were top notch and the story was excellent. The graphic capabilities were so great I can't image how great the Ps4 version would be. For all cods the factor that decides most peoples review is usually the multiplayer, and its no different for me. At first impression the multiplayer amazed me. It looked way better than mw3 and kill streaks are awesome. But then I started playing.... I realised the maps were all so HUGE. There isn't actually one small map in this game, the closest thing to a small map is Strikezone which come on is still pretty big. I know, I know, new maps will come in dlcs but I usually don't waste money on dlcs. I didn't buy any black ops 2 dlcs but I still enjoyed that game so much. Whats this games excuse? I expected big things from the multiplayer and I'm actually not Impressed as I thought I would be. Its just like playing Mw3 again. Also there are big things this multiplayer is missing. Like WHERES THEATRE MODE? It makes it harder for me to get game plays for youtube. I do like the new perk system but it is overshadowed by things I don't like. The new game modes are not so great either. Squads is mediocre and can be fun at times but overall, its a joke. I mean where does Infinity ward expect you to get all those squad points from, I mean they're not exactly easy to come by. You have to unlock weapons for one solider then the others and then theres perks, kill streaks, attachments. Its all a bit tedious. I understand the concept of developing your own elite squad but if there was a better unlock system then I might have really enjoyed this. Extinction is quite fun but it is so easy. Its not even hard to kill the enemy as they go down in like two hits. The good thing is perks and items are in your arsenal instead of around the map which I do prefer but I just wish it has some difficulty like zombies did. I think we would have been better of with survival as that was in my opinion the most fun thing about mw3. So I think after this I will not be buying anymore COD unfortunately. I also might give Battlefield 4 a try instead.

Overall An Amazing Game
Let me start of with what I dislike: (SPOILER) The End Is A Cliffhanger, Meaning I'll Have To Buy The next one to find out what happens. Extinction, It Doesn't Make Sense The Squad Points System (Described Later) And now what I Do like: The Story Is Fantastic (IMO) Very Initiative With Weapons Used The Graphics Are Amazing (Again, In My Opinion The Squad Points System ( Yes I Both Hate And Love It) Single player: (No Spoilers) It takes place 10 years after the treaty was broken, a team of "ghosts" are fighting the "Federation" . The Main Characters Are: Logan Walker (Player Controlled) David "Hesh" Walker (Brother) Elias "Sarecrow Walker (Father) Gabriel T. Rorke And Of Course, Riley (The Dog) Extinction: Takes Place 24 Days After "The Event" Not Really Played much so cant really comment Squads: You Build A Team Of 6 People, Each With 6 Classes And Take On Someone Else's Squad Lots Of Fun Multiplayer: This Is A Lot Of Fun, However The Maps Seem To Have Nothing To Do With the story squad points, this is a system like cod points in black ops, you can buy things with squad points, this is bad because it allows the noobiest player to have access to the best kit. Scorestreaks: Theese In My Opinion Are Quite bad: Assault: The System makes your streak start over again when you die Support: Your Streak Keeps Going After you die Specialist: Like Assault But Instead Of Using Thing Like Dogs And Armor You Use Extra Perks Singleplayer: 8/10 Extinction: 7/10 Squads 7/10 Multiplayer: 9/10 Overall 9.25/10

Campers On Duty: TOAST!
I have never felt the need to write a negative review about a game before and although i came on here to write about CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS Online/Multiplayer, i will give a balanced review because it's only fair. Story Mode - I really enjoyed, it was probably the most fun Story Mode I have ever played on a Call Of Duty title, plenty action, some jaw-dropping scenes and characters you identified with, even if you hate your own Dad! Very enjoyable! As with other Call Of Duty modes only lasts a few hours. - GOOD FUN. Multiplayer/Online Mode - Let's be honest, the story mode is not the reason we buy the Call Of Duty games, right? Multiplayer is the main course. What an absolute let down! After looking forward to the game, like so many other people, for so long, i was so so disappointed. i have 3 words in the forefront of my mind - "CAMPER'S ON DUTY". Putting aside the disappointment in Amazon for not getting my game to me on launch date even though i pre-ordered 2 months in advance, for the bonus map that i can't access because there's something wrong with the code....The Multiplayer is just HORRIBLE!! AWFUL HIT-DETECTION! - sometimes you get 'thin air' kills, sometimes you don't. I guess 'HIT happens' guys. Toss a Coin, Heads or Tails.... POINTLESS WINNING KILLCAM! - I haven't seen a decent kill on there yet, usually someone sat down in a corner puts 2 bullets into a guy running past.... INFURIATING UNFAIR SPAWNING! - This has to be my MAJOR PROBLEM with the game. It is almost impossible to get a decent killstreak without camping. Hence the number of campers. You're moving round, doing the hardwork getting through a couple of the enemy, then someone spawns behind you and pop, what has happened with this???? MW2 was fine, MW3 was fine, Black Ops not so fine but Ghosts is the worst it has ever been! What happened to progress? The franchise is going backwards.... UNBALANCED, TOO MANY SNIPER MAPS - I don't mind Sniper Maps, in fact they are a welcome change on some of the other Call Of Duty games, but the majority of maps on this game seem Sniper-Friendly and the odd small map has people Spawning behind you every 3 kills. No balance whatsoever.... DEMORALIZING STEEP, STEEP LEVELLING UP PROCESS - As others have stated, the best perks take too long to unlock. If i ever get to level 40 i will stand a chance...oh and by camping of course.... COWARDLY CAMPER'S - What Can you do? Camp back at them? Play for the 0-0 draw? I have never seen so many Campers in my entire experience of Call Of Duty games! I guess it's time to pick up your Sniper Rifle, fix on your Thermal attachment, pop on the Silencer and find a corner that isn't already occupied....or Die! I can honestly say i will not be buying any more Call of Duty titles after this one. It's had its day, in my opinion this is the final nail in Call Of Duty's coffin. In fact, if I could I would spawn right behind it, with my Thermal Honey Badger and put the final bullet 6 inches to the left of its ear (really hitting but clearly missing) and thus finishing it off as is the Call Of Duty: Ghosts way...live by hit(and miss)detection, die by hit(and miss)detection. R.I.P. Call Of Duty P.S. Merry Christmas to all the disappointed people who wake up on Christmas Day and unwrap this pile of t***, I sincerely hope you have a good Christmas in spite of this game.

Il gioco é bello, sia in sigolo che in multiplayer... ma la particolarità per questo acquisto é il prezzo, davvero irrisorio. Gioco totalmente in italiano.
