You need to be very careful when lighting this lamp it is easy to damage the glass

Cheap materials and questionable build quality, still does its job - produce light.

Work perfectly great for the price

Good value, worked out cheaper than buying garden candles and remained lit in a howling gale and the big benefit they're reusable. To be honest I ought as disposable, there are far better more expensive ones on the market but these were perfect for the job. Paraffin is also much safer than people think and gives off a wonderful light without ruining night vision.

Cheap and poorly made. Used them both for the first time last night and both broke. The first one I went to light and used the lever to lower the glass back into place and glass smashed everywhere. The other, you can’t get the wick to move up. Not even worthy of a decorative piece in the home.

Flimsy winding mechanism broke 1st use .difficult to light wick . Disappointed

For the price these are pretty good. You just need to be careful when filling and lighting as they're only light weight .

went to open it for the first time from the box and this bit shot forward and fired the glass cover to the floor smashing it to a lot of dangerous bits of sharp glass rendering this lamp to never be able to use making it a useless paperwieght.Something needs to be done to this useless design flaw with the glass so its safely secured in it's wire holding rack and not just fall out like a rocket!If this useless flaw is addressed and FIXED then id happily give this product 5 star but not untill.My old one never had this problem and its almost identicle but the manufacturer of my old one solved that problem long long ago so why cant this manufacturer do the same?Wish i hadnt put my old lamp to the recycle scrap bin now. :(
