This is a terrible product. The packaging was in Chinese. I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol applied the double sided adhesive to the product, then applied to the countertop. Within minutes it started lifting up. I applied weight to it and left it overnight thinking it might need time to completely adhere but that didn't help. Reapplied new double sided adhesive, still lifting up. This stuff is crap!!!

Product works as described after following instructions to submerge in boiling/hot water for a few minutes. Came out of the box rolled up, but after boiling it straightened out and remained straight. I’m actually using this to protect my undermount kitchen sink counter edge.

My baby is an active, brave boy, so baby-proofing the house is not going to be optional.Because the fore buyers appear the problem, so I look at the seller comments, and immerged the product in hot water made it straighten first, then wipe clean, so to avoid the front customers encounter problems, very grateful to him.I really like that the eage protective strip are small and transparent so they do not detract from our decor. Agree with the other comment that the strip needs to put into boiling water before use, as specified by the seller's instruction. The 3M double-sided tape that comes with the strip is strong enough to hold the strip on the edge. With two kids at home, this thing is very helpful and I would recommend to anyone who would like to protect children from getting hurt by the sharp edges of the furniture.
